Misc. Pods:

Clockwise from top: Bih Jolokia, Yellow Bhut Jolokia, Biker Billy Jalapeno, Apache, Unknown, Chenzo, Wasp, Kung Pao.

And a plant that has white with purple stripped flowers, but green immature pods, ripe pods are brown. Mix of hungarian black and jalapeno?

Choc Jalapeno.

What's the taste like on them?

Sweeet. Mine have a reddish tint to them too this season... odd because they were much darker last season (and the plants are overwintered).

Purple Bhut is starting to put out pods, about two weeks after i changed from worm jizz to CANNA bloom two part.

Flowers are purrrty :D

Heaps! We don't get frosts here (maybe two a year, MAYBE) so they will continue to pump for about another six months.

BTW thanks again for helping me with my uploading droid pics!

Left them on the plant to see what would happen.
They went from green to brown, to black, to red!
Heat and flavour like a hungarian black, ie low heat, taste like a red capsicum.
edit: I should try them brown or black next time, might be hotter than there are when sweet and red.
Cant try them now as my mouth is burning from sampling other hybrids I have...
But the 4 stages of colour look good in the garden at least, along with my other 4 stage colour hybrid, the thai X that goes light green, yellow, orange and red.

Hi Pablo, those Albino baby birds eyes NOTS look OK, do you have any other pics???? or pics of the flowers, it looks like a C. Baccatum!!!
It's definitely an albino thai birdseye baby c annuum. I don't know anything about thai birdseye chillies as far as the full size plant, or how the variety baby birdseye came about and whether that is stable. But 5 years ago I bought a thai birdseye seedling plant from a market (that ended up making minture pods so I guess it was a 'baby birdseye'), and that plant has either crossed with everything I've had in me garden, or is very unstable. I have 5 types of thai chillies now at least, but only ever bought that baby birdseye plant, no other thai type chilli seed or plant! The others must have come about crossing with cayennes or jalapenos and with itself after a generation.

the original type is thin skinned, all seeds.
1st hybrid. larger and fleshy walls
2nd hybrid thin walled, dries very well on the plant - can tear the top off and pour out the 8 or so seeds and eat it, very leathery and chewy unless further drying is done though, probably idea for chilli flakes though.
3rd type I haven't tried yet.
Albino I haven't tried yet, waiting to see if it changes colour. I test them for when they are easy to pull off the plant, still firmly attached today though.

Nice pictures and updates everyone

No picture updates from me due to being ashamed of my plants at the moment ... plenty of pods about but issues galore with mites and leaf drop. Even some nicely formed little pods (ie 2 weeks since setting) have dropped off some plants :( Got my first choc bhut and T.Scorpion butch t's and bohamian goat set though)

Just made up some pure Soap, Garlic pesticide spray concentrate to mix with my next neem attack tonight .... the little bastards better watch out !!

Why do you think most of my shots have been extreme close-ups? ;)

My plants are a sorry bunch ATM for the same reasons. I know it probably won't make you feel any better but I feel your pain!

I'm seeing a bit of that too. All my CGN 21500 pods dropped recently. :( Frustrating as hell because same as yours, they had set a couple weeks back.

I bought a new toy from fleabay. 225 led BLUE 15 watt. This thing blinds ya when ya look directly at it, also when you shine it on you arm then take it away you see little blue dots everywhere! :D
