What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

And how did it turn out?

I was in the mood for wings, but wasn't going to do anything fancy, just wanted something quick using what was in the house. Baked the wings in the oven with a dry rub of cayenne, Death Rain, pepper, and bih jolokia powder (from Muso2112). Took them out and coated with Cap'n's savina sauce. Pretty good for a quick meal.

Had a hankering for a BLT and added some frozen fatali shavings for pop...4 mimosas later and I just made a second one was in order. Not going to win any cookoffs but damn.....thats a good simple sammy!

There's no food better than home grown for satisfaction! I cannot wait to get a bigger place with a garden area....it will be on!

Rolled pork roast with Rothchild Farms roasted pineapple habanero sauce. Added Aji/Beni Highlands powder blend to it. Semi young kimchi i made not long ago with gochu from the garden. It may be about a month old but still tastes a bit too fresh to me. Plenty sour but it doesn't have the mellowed garlic flavor of older kimchi. Worked well with the sweet sauce though.

Hong Kong style braised beef noodle soup. I made this as a alternative to using the seasoning packet in ramen. I cooked the beef yesterday and strained the stock. The beef is not very spicy. The noodles are first boiled for 5 min instead of the recommended 6 then drained. The braised beef, a little of the fat/oil and the stock is just nuked till really hot. Then added to the nearly finished/drained noodles. I love the Prima Taste noodles so i sacrificed my Chili Crab LaMian

A splash of good Chinese black vinegar and a drizzle of some crazy hot chili oil i found.

Visiting with my mom today... Homemade bahn xeo.. that's not an omelet, it's a crispy crepe made with rice flour, coconut milk and a touch of tumeric... Stuffed with shrimp, pork, mung beans, and bean sprouts. Wish you all could have heard the mouth watering sizzling it was making as it cooked in the pan. It's eaten with lettuce and lots and lots of herbs.. and yes it was the AWESOME!
