Had to try this one FIRST! Not as bad as you make it out to be but that is preference of course. I'm sitting here enjoying it. It has a hint of fresh apple cider to me, so not juicy in the citrus regard, but welcome, and pretty tasty.
Thanks for giving it a shot, Boss! They're probably not 'terrible.' I just hope you guys don't think I'm trying to put that up against an OH or something, haha. Try the "Big Cranky." Much better, IMO

Well, I had saved this bottle of super rare, one time release Aslin stout, for a rainy day. With the loss of my precious dog today, this constitutes that rainy day.

This is a 13% Imperial Stout aged in rye whiskey barrels for over a year, with hickory syrup added for that extra cream on the top. There were only 200 bottles of this beer made, and I had to wait over 2 hours to get one. There was a one bottle per person limit on it, so that obviously means that only 200 people and their friends will be able to try it.

The alcohol is completely hidden in that hickory syrup sweetness. There is rye bourbon big time on the nose, on the middle of the tongue, but very distinguishable on the aftertaste. This is an extremely unique beer, and one of the best I have had of this style.

I couldn't think of a better beverage to drown my sorrows with.
