smoking Stubb's Charcoal $5.99

Don't know but you couldn't get it for awhile, and it used to be like $18/bag and when it went out of stock I saw it on amazon for over 40 . Stubb's found a new distributor (DuraFlame/Cowboy) I think or they just changed the bag color but the formula is the same, the price is lower, AND it's on sale. win/win! Stock up it's the best. You'll see.

Thanks dude. That's why it tastes so good, and people rave about the "flavor."

Used some tonight and mmmmmmm so glad to find it again!

Thanks for the tip! My go to's are Stubbs for briquettes and Royal Oak for lump. Both fantastic and go on sale about 3 times a year around a Labor Day, Memorial Day, and 4th of July.

Agreed on both brands there. ;)

Now this is what THP is all about, sharing even the littlest heads up. Yes Stubbs is getting harder and harder to find in my area. Only one of the five Wally Worlds carry it seasonally for $7.99, but it goes fast. Good to see Lowes dropped it $4 and will be buying at least 10 bags (116 showing in store-Middletown Lowes PA). Great stuff, long burn, low ash and no crap. Thanks for the heads up.

Sure as shit my local Lowes has a 126 bags!   I'll have to try it, if its your fav I suspect its pretty good stuff. Do you know what kind of woods they use?

Thx for the tip , Pookimus
I know on the East Coast it comes from the plant in Kentucky and is composed Of 95% Hardwood Charcoal & 5% Vegetable Binder. It does resemble the same characteristics of when I burn oak and hickory in my stick burner, but that's just me.
