Buncha MALARKY 2017

Welcome to my first Glog everyone. This is my second grow. Thanks to the generosity of the THP community I am in possession of more varieties of seeds than I'll ever be able to grow. I have limited yard space and I try to keep things cheap to make this hobby less annoying to my wife.

So I'm located outside of Madison, WI. Zone 5a/4b
My goal is grow a wider variety of heat this year.

First 4 varieties Soaking:
-Aji LemonDrop (contest)
-Aji Amarillo
-Peruvian Red Rocotto
-Aji Oro

It's just the beginning. I need to grab some more of these cups for soaking.
Thanks for looking in. At a MINIMUM, I'll update once a week.

updated pics coming this weekend. Its been really cool and rainy. I transplanted 12 plants to 5/6ga buckets and they are stuck in slow-mo with this cool wet weather. I still have some material to mix up another batch of container mix so i'll be transplanting the last few soon. Late unfortunately. Oh well I'm content to play the long game and hopefully OW the winners for next year.

This will brighten up my mood though. I made a quick frig sauce with some frozen Dreadies.
probably 9 P.Dreadie pods
2 cups chopped pineapple
hand full of cilantro
juiced 1 lime
1 cup white vinegar
sprinkle of salt
blitz'd and cooked
awesome on fish

Lookin' great, Matt! That sauce sounds fantastic! And your Aji Oro is killin' it this year. Already ripening pods. Sadly, the P. Dreadie I started burned up outside. Next year, for sure. I already have my list started. Your raised veggie bed is a work of art. I hope your grow exceeds your expectations this year!

The Pineapple sauce is awesome. I probably should have put a few more peppers in it but I always get nervous.

What is this thing?

I tried my hand at cheese making this weekend. Just a simple Acid-set cheese. Its really plain. but with evo, basalmic, sundried tomato powder and basil its really good.

Nice looking rocoto pods! It looks like you will have a good selection of some of South America's finest pods soon enough.

Are you growing any aji limo plants this year?
My limo's are not the most photogenic at the moment. I've got 2 chugging along.
I've got high hopes though.
