You don't unfortunately.

That's it's final home, but it is 9ltr and it's esentially hydro so there's enough space for a good root system.

It's one of these so real easy to flush out once in a while.

Huh... that's a unique setup. Do you have a way to aerate the growing solution in the jar? Do the roots mind being exposed to the light?

INTERESTING and Awesome! Hope it ends up manageable for you and the root zone is large enough to support 13+ kilos ;)

Also...I'm anxious to see the rest of the pod shapes that form for you. Generally, the first pods on a plant, exhibit the most "signature" look of the variety.

Even the 5 year mother plant these seeds came from would throw a random pod shaped like yours there every now and then. 90% of them retaining the signature, bottom feature of the variety. In my expereince, the flower band is what holds on long after pollination, squeezing the bottom of the pod almost into that trinidad scorpion shape. Ya know?

Ok boys and girls, you can all start crying in the next three days, because after this final cold/wet spell moves through....root systems hit the SOIL. Plants are getting WAY too big and crowded for the basement HID lights and the little 2.5 inch containers. Fed them a super fermented fresh clover AACT this morning and moved the taller varieties outside under the shade cloth to start hardening off. Georgia weather and this shitty long winter has me one month behind but its time now...

Well, good thing I had a backup! I got a little too aggressive with my hardening off and zapped my first pick. No big deal though, I potted up the backup several weeks ago and it actually overtook the other one. He is outside now awaiting his final home! I will post some pics later.

My growdown plant has grown another inch since up-potting to a 4 liter Air-pot, and the root tips are already pushing out the bottom. Looks like there's gonna be another growth spurt soon.

The pic is a little blurry, but the axillary growth is over an inch long and beginning to push out.

Is there gonna be a leaderboard update soon?

I was going to wait until we started weighing pods, but will put one up in the interim.

There are entry requirements though .....
  • Side on photo with tape measure
  • Canopy shot with tape measure
Only reason I request is that plants lose perspective in different size pots while a measure has no bias.
