Wow, those rocopica are a very dark/rich brown!  San pedro orange pods also look great.  I'll be waiting a bit for mine to ripen, but I think it'll make it.
 
Cool to see that Dragon's cross is finally getting around to ripening pods.  It's been a long time.

The BJ Brown is a super productive plant. It is
the first I've grown to actually ripen up all its pods.
Haven't tasted one, yet. My main purpose is for a
nice chocolate powder. I usually mix whatever
pods I have. This year the BJ, and a Moruga UV
Chocolate.

I had great production too even with the massive hornworm invasion that hit the small raised bed. They took forever to flower because the plants grew like mad in that bed. Love the way they look when dried. The last of my supers are drying now. I got a few more i saved for a mash instead of a chopped lacto ferment. I will never use all the ones i already got going but want to try these new lids on a mash too. I still got a large jar of mixed super flake from last year. Reaper, BBJ, and Dragon Breath mainly. I usually blend it with some paprika and Kirklands no salt seasoning to tame it down a notch but its still wickedly hot.
 
The ‘BB Habanero‘ CGN 24360 has ripened
up all of its pods. Just about time to pull the
plant and gather the little bb’s:

Have you tried your OS Jalapeno yet?  I'm wondering if yours have a decent kick of heat.  Seems some people have reported good heat and others not so much.  So far I've been a not so much.

The only thing I know about next season is I'm 
growing fewer plants :lol: . I have been kicking
around the idea of limiting my grow to 20 3-gallon
containers.
 
I grew an Aji Charapita a few seasons back. If I
remember correctly, those pods were a bit larger
than these.

Haven't tried them yet, CD. I was hoping for
enough of them to make some pickled rings,
but so far only three ripe, and they are pretty
small. Our grow season may be running out,
I'm afraid. Still too many unripe pods on the
vines.
 
We are forecast for 34, 27 and 34 for the next
three nights' low temps. That may do it. We
have flirted with 32 for a couple of nights in
the past week.
 
I hope your season is coming to a suc-
cessful conclusion, my friend!
 
Not sure how I'm going to harvest 'a thousand'
little round pods  :rofl:
 
It looks like tonight is the night. New forecast
says 25-26˚F tonight, then a whole string of
temps in the 30's. Then back into the 40's
on Nov. 1.
 
I think tonight will do the job on the plants.
Forecast to be freezing from 11PM tonight
until 9AM tomorrow morning. Plants can
tolerate an hour or two of freezing but 10
hours is asking a bit much. Wind is exacer-
bating the cold as well.
 
I'll be cleaning off plants today. At least it's
sunny out.
 
And dry.
 
Freeze-dried    ;)
