Yea Doug it was fun!!
The Chinense PI 441637 was kinda sweet tasting man! I dont know if it is because they are the first smallest ripe ones!I was expecting more heat, we will see when the bigger ones get ripe! The Annuum PI 273429 was hot, nice flavor, about like a Z bird, but was totally full of seeds!
The surprise was the Coral Reef ! it tasted awesome, I was expecting Cayenne heat but it actually had a hint of sweetness and was pretty hot too!

great looking plants, great looking pods. nicely done.
Thank you Buddy!

Looking good my man! You'll be swimming in pods soon enough! :onfire:
I hope so! We could use some rain down here for sure!
I gotta get them sprinklers going overtime!!
Thanks Matt!!

I have to say that I am pretty happy with my plants this year, even thru a few setbacks they are thriving!
OK! Enough patting my own back!
Thank you Doug!!

Kevin

looking good!

You're right, i agree, that ciliatum is looking very pretty.
It is prolly my favorite plant in the garden as far as looks!!
Take a look at Mill's sometime for a real treat!
Thanks Kidd!!

Your trees are lookin' fine Kevin. You'll need a ladder for picking around the end of summer. ;)
SS ,I am just trying to keep up with you brother!!
and I prefer a machete over a ladder!
Thanks!!

It works pretty well for me. I have to pull the occasional weed that pops up near the pepper stems or that germinates on top of the paper and grass seed mulch, but they come out pretty easy and there aren't a lot of them. Color me sold on the mulch. If I did not mulch them, the weeds would rapidly overtake my plants. The peppers seem to struggle in my clay, but the weeds really thrive if given a chance.

Thanks Midwest! I may utliize your mulch technique next year man!
