Cutting board seeds.

So tonight I Cherry smoked some Trinidad Scorpions.
Here is what I started with.
100_1370.jpg

While cutting them in half I had a good many seeds come out on the cutting board.
100_1372.jpg

Then I filled the tray and got it ready.(each pod was halved not quartered.)
100_1371.jpg

I put the seeds that were on that board into a coin envelop directly. I figure drying them on a paper plate works, so they should dry in the paper coin envelop during transit.

NOW to win you have to guess The total number of fresh pods shown + the number of seeds on the cutting board. To be clear your guess should be the total of both together.

IF there is a tie the tie breaker will be the closest guess to how many fresh pods were left uncut after I filled the tray.

This will end at 4pm Eastern Standard Time(3pm Board time) on Saturday October 15th, 2011.

The winner will receive the seeds shown on the board free of charge.

OOOoohhh Sounds like fun! Thanks, Justaguy!

So the equation would be-
count first pods, count tray pods, guestimate miniscule shadows on cuttinboard, divide in direct proportion to number of drinks consumed before looking and counting, multiply by 1.25 and then take the reverse quotient= WAG!!!!

I might have a shot at getting this one:crazy:

not quite  The cut pods on the tray are for use in the tie breaker equation.

Man I tell you they turned out great and I will probably toss in a little of the powder I will be making with them tomorrow.

50 whole pods in the first pic, 34 cut pods=68 halves= 26 extra pods
22 seeds plus the 4 pods in the seed pic...

uuumh...

[original post says-NOW to win you have to guess The total number of fresh pods shown + the number of seeds on the cutting board. To be clear your guess should be the total of both together.]

total pods shown- 50+34=4= 88 pods shown
seeds= 22

pod difference= 26

total pods plus seeds- 88 + 22= 110 ?!?!???

It's that whole New Math thing, been trying to help the kid out with homework and I'm definitely NOT smarter than a 7th grader~~~

I'm still not sure how to post the answer, so I hope you won't mind me breaking it to bits.

49 seeds on board.
33 pods (66 halves) on tray.
50+ fresh pods in first pic.

OOOohh! I Got it-

grabbed a

100 pods + 44 seeds + 8 more pods in the cutting board pic= 152!

(half of that if I hadn't had that next glass of wine)

tie breaker Pod difference-
26 before wine
52 after re-wine.

Aw well, I counted as best I could. Thanks for a fun contest and your generosity for sharing. Those pods look....HHHHOOOOTTTT!!!!

-
33 pods (66 halves) on tray.
=tie breaker guess
just have to cement those numbers with a +:D
EDIT: I am not saying if the numbers are correct, I am just saying that is how the numbers you provided would work into it.

113 is my guess

tie breaker 25
