Werzel gummage (TV program)
Mellow yello (drink)
10 packs of ciggarettes
Actual tin beer cans
10c packs of chewing gum
20cent lolly mixtures in paper bags
the goodies (TV program)
Terrahawks (TV program)

When you pulled the tab off of beer cans and could cut a finger completely off with it.

Pop out of a machine was paper thin glass and had a foam label around it.

When women wore shoulder pads in all blouses? WTF was that about.

Everyone and I mean everyone..women,men,children wore those shorts that were either red or blue. They were really short with a V cut on the outer thigh and white trim or piping around them. And if you were lucky you could get blue ones with red trim.

Smoke at work indoors. There are still a few desks in my office with burn marks.

I remember when the moon was the size of a silver dollar...

gas - 14 cents/gallon (gas war in 1958 - was normally 19 cents/gal)
loaf of bread - 10 Cents
6.5 ounce coke - 5 cents
deposit on coke bottles - 2 cents each (this was a money making thing for me)
cigarettes 35 cents/pack (10 cents a pack if you were on board ship)
gallon of milk - free, whole milk from the cow and fresh butter too...
no color TV
no store bought toys...all had to be hand made...but that may have been because we were poor (but didn't know it)...match box's for cars with cut out cardboard circles cut out and glued to a match stick for the axle...
my first gun - 12 years old in 1961 and got a 12 gauge shotgun for christmas...
first gun shot - model 12 Winchester 12 gauge shotgun..6 years old
when the big thing of the week was Sunday Morning Church then to the creek in the afternoon for a cool dip - 2 1954...
my first memory - 1952 - my namesake (Otis L. Winborn - Church of Christ Minister) giving me a Raggedy Andy doll....yes, that's right...a doll, but it was used more in a GI Joe kinda way...
using dynamite to blast stumps while the grownups were "in town"....got in trouble for that one...1957

oh yeah, Friday Night Fights and Gillette Cavalcade of Sports with my dad..."To look sharp, and to feel sharp too, choose a razor, that is built for you, light, and regular, and heavy, Hey, makes shaves for any beard ole'"
