Here is my final pepper grow list for 2012 and pictures of my newly taped together grow box to get off on the right foot this year. I had wanted to have this already done and seeds started over a month ago but life happens.

This years list is only 1/4th of what I had originally planned but the family wants more herbs/veg to enjoy, I think it's honestly because they are sick of hearing me curse the skies and punch the cat when I indulge in some super hot love.

---Grow Box for 2012---
HydroFarm 4ft 6bulb T5HO setup, had it not been for my horrible ability to measure things, I could of easily fit in the 8bulb, oh well. It cranks out enough light to make me squink so I'm happy. All the shiny stuff is your average emergency blanket from Wal-Mart. I have it chain mounted and can easily be adjusted to any height I want from the bottom upwards to 5 ft, so there is plenty of room in there to play with. Once seeds are planted out I am taking on a new project to grow some monster DWC 100% isolated plants for a member, I'm really excited to see what those babies will do with the new setup.

Haha ya... those are old CDRs that were never used. So far so good.. I haven't had any issues with the birds for over a week now.

at the first split, as well. Is that a characteristic of rocoto/manzano?

What is the purpose of the wood chips on top of your potting soil? To help keep the soil temperature down? To keep water in?

All mine are still dropping a bunch of flowers...cold night time temps I think. Your about to be covered up in pods...so let that Manzano take its time! I just got to sample a few of those Yellow Cardis and I can't wait to get a hold of some more. Your plants look fantastic! Going to be a banner year at the Torno place this year! I don't know what is up with your flower stem??? Could be bug marks or some sort of a fungus? Hope you get it figured out...keep us posted.

Looks like a form of bacteria. Has it been cold/calm/wet?

It's been hot/ windy/ average.... Any suggestions on a spray to hit it with?

I wouldn't worry about it. But I am pretty laid back about most things when it comes to my plants.

Maybe suction marks from insects...was that an ant or a pepper weevil? Might try a night recon to catch something in the act.
Those CARDI's look like they are gonna be bumpy as hell ,as well as having some really nice tails.
I only have pods on the overwinters-you are podding up everywhere already!I 'd wish you luck, but maybe I'd be better off asking for some of yours!

I've got some sort of funky stuff spreading from plant to plant... So far I haven't seen any serious affects aside from the jacked up leaf below. Any ideas? The dots seem to follow along the veins and the stem connecting the leaf to the main plant stem. The same dots that appeared on the dropped flower stem I posted earlier.. What can I use to treat this and knock it out ASAP?

This leaf was PERFECT before it got this nonsense on there... Took some time before the leaf went funky...
