Gorgeous! I have some yellow poppies in my garden as well and some seedlings for a few other varieties.

I stake my peppers and cage my tomatoes. My tomatoes usually outgrow their cages though so end up with additional stakes for support.

Looks like sun/wind burn. A few of my plants outside look like this as well unfortunately due to some sporadic weather recently.

Jealous of the pepper selection you have there! That is pretty cool!   This is my second year growing shishitos and they always are the first to pod up. I have 2 plants growing as well.

This is exactly what I use. I put them on a heat mat as well. I have always had good success with this method (much better than the paper towel method). I remove the pellets from the dome as they sprout and pop them under lights.

Mine grow much better when I put them in a shady/partial sun spot. When I put them out into full sun they get cooked with 30C weather and end up going through what yours are.

I would be reluctant to skip hardening off. I have been putting my plants out in the shade for a couple hours the past couple days to begin hardening them off and by the time I bring them in they are all drooping. Our weather has been fantastic this year compared to usual (will even be 29C/84F next week apparently). That being said, I don't dare plant out until at least mid-May as we are at risk for getting hit with frost and I don't want to kill everything. I am taking this opportunity to slowly harden...

I'm in Calgary Alberta. I don't usually plant anything until mid to late May. It has been nice enough lately that my plants are spending time outdoors but our nights are still chilly so nothing gets planted yet.
