I built an "aerocloner" which uses an ultrasonic fogger. This is my first trial run to see how well it works and how the pepper cuttings respond. It's only been a day but they haven't died yet so that is a good sign.

Up to $46 with 15 bids. So crazy to think there are that many people wanting this plant that don't do the research to figure out much cheaper ways.

Had one pop today in my rockwool. Day 8: Primo 2/3 HP22B 1/3 Day 1: Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend 0/3 (primed 24 hrs in 3% solution potassium nitrate)

0/3 on day 7(today) for me. 82-85F in rockwool.

Into the 1.5" rockwool cubes. Hopefully i can regulate the temperature well enough until my heat mat thermostat gets here tomorrow. My inconsistant luck in the past I think was due to my passive way of trying to keep a steady 85F. Fingers crossed as i am only attempting 3 seeds of each.

Here we go. In my goodwill shot glasses filled with camomile tea for the night. First observation is that the Primo seeds sink while the HP22B seeds float. It must have to do with how dried they are.

Looks like you are having good luck with the rapid rooters. I tried those this year and didn't have great germination rates but using rockwool the year before i had great success. Now seeing yours I am thinking my reason may have been the trouble of keeping proper temperature this year and not...

My 7 Pot Primo seeds should be shipping out today from Primo (thanks!). I think I may just have to sow some of both and see how far I can get in my cabinet this winter. I'll have to do some heavy trimming and supercropping to keep them small until spring.
