Do you think you will have any problems with the growing season ending too early in Michigan for you to get any ripe pods? I am guessing you have until the end of September before the temps will be dropping into the 40's pretty regular and you will have to start worrying about a freeze.

That is an interesting plant. Those blooms are really cool. What are the peppers supposed to be like? Are they on par with the Bhut Jolokia or are they a tamer variety?

On one of my Cayenne plants, several non-ripe peppers are touching the ground. Is this OK, or will it cause some kind of problem for the fruit? They are not laying sideways on the ground, just the tips of several of them. pepper pikker
