    7 years ago on this day someone stole Yuki out of my yard. I'd only had her for 2 months but it was still the worst feeling I'd ever had. Long story short, I got her back after dealing with some unsavory characters and exchanging some cash, but I have no regrets. Love that crazy husky.

    Your dog was kidnapped, drugged, and held for ransom? That's nuts! I would be interested in hearing the long version of the story.

    I suspect she wasn't being held for ransom. Most people who have heard the story think they took her to either resell her or use her has a bait dog since she's all white and was only 10 months old and they left my senior brindle pit in the yard (or didn't notice him, he'd always curl up in a sunny corner and take a nap). I think the only reason I got her back was because I lived next to some gangbangers that I was always neighborly with despite their extracurricular activitie...

    When they found out she was gone it was like a search party went out and within a day of those guys hearing she was gone, I got a call from a blocked number from a guy who wouldn't tell me his name or where he lived, just said he had my dog. I asked to come get her and he said no, I asked if he would drop her off, he said no. I had to meet him at a gas station off the highway to get the dog back.

    Paid off the student loans in May, had a good 4 months being debt free. Just got the first bill for the new car, but I don't even care, the car is sexy.

    that awkward moment when you're tagging along and your dude says jeans, a white t short and cowboy boots is fine and it ends up being a surprise wedding where most people are in dresses and suit jackets...

    Everyone was surprised I guess everyone else just dresses up to go out. Dude was in jeans and a t shirt too. Groom had jeans on but a nice shirt and jacket. Oh well, if i had a dress on i wouldnt have been able to bust out the worm and kick up in the soul train line.

    Secured a contract for some photo work with a national marketing network. I have a good feeling this will lead to many more connections and work. Huzzah!

    I'm itching to start planning a road trip with the new car. I'm thinking a national park/forest camping tour with the dagz.

    The new car is difficult to parallel park. Bigger, and longer front end compared to the back... after driving a mustang for 10 years you'd think it wouldn't be an issue but 3 years of a jetta made me forget.

    I had a jetta, it was the worst thing ever. I picked up a 2015 mazda3 hatchback per the advice of smokenfire ;)

    Mazda makes a damn decent product nowadays. I really like the 3 series and the CX-5.

    I need some ideas for meals I can cook up and then freeze in portions so my dad can reheat them in the microwave. He lives alone, doesn't cook much, and orders out a lot so I wanna give him a quick healthy option that is better tasting than the usual frozen dinner. Thanks in advance!

    I went to an art show last night and bought a bunch of magnets for the fridge.... Alf, Rambo, Ninja Turtles, Spock, and McCoy. I'm extremely proud of my purchases.

    Not 100% sure I will make it there. Depends on how much work I get done. If I do go it will probably be Sunday. Just seeing if anyone else in the area was heading up to motivate me to get work done faster and get there.

    In the last 2 days I've purchased 5 pieces of artwork... 4 of them were painting of each ninja turtle, and the 5th is a watercolor of Spock. I'm pretty psyched on redecorating my living room.
