  Hm. You're right. Now when I think of it, they don't really look like the Cayenne peppers I grew a couple years ago.      Hm, the flowers aren't purple. Here's a photo of a flower:       Yes I like the shape and the color. Some are growing upward (like the one on the photo) and some aren't.   

Hey guys! I bought seeds that were supposed to be Purple Cayenne. Someone said that they are purple (purple varieties can be quite dark, apparently) but not a cayenne pepper.    What do you think? I think they can be cayenne peppers but they look more black than purple to me...  :P

  Thanks very helpful and informative. Some LEDs sold as "full spectrum" also include other colors (e.g., green, infrared). Do you think this is unnecessary? 

  Hey, how did it go?   I recently moved two of my plants under a LED grow light in a grow tent. They almost dropped every nice and big leaf they had. It seems like the leaves are hanging in there now but we'll see. I am, however, curious if your plants bounced back.
