off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 60F on its way to 64F. More T-Storms in progress. Looks like today is a complete washout. Got 1" overnight. Lots of rain and really cool for this time of year. Mud season arrived late this year. Fixing breakfast burritos in a bit. Going to watch decision day (last matches of the season) for the PL this morning. Probably futz this afternoon. Grilling some pork chops this evening. Good to hear that Chuck is on the road to recovery. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 50F, on its way to 71F. Calling for a mix of clouds and sun. Might be a pretty day. Not much planned for today, just chillaxing. Good to hear Chuck is improving. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and be kind to your body.

Hello all! I’m still alive. Thanks Sic for checking on me. Knee is coming along. Slower than expected. I hope to get outside and try and do some gardening. That means grab a rake and spread some leaves. I managed yesterday to get to the garlic and water. I seen some scapes so I cut them off. Thanks Jane! I’ll try to get in here more. Sleep isn’t great so you guys are long gone by the time I get up and around. lol Hope you all have a great day and thanks for the best wishes.

Good morning and Happy Memorial Day. Remember and honor those who have died in service to our country. It's 57F on its way to 60F. Breezy and abnormally cool today with periods of rain and T-Storms. Got another 1.4" of rain yesterday with lots more rain expected today and tomorrow. Monday morning chores. WX permitting, I'll go to the cemetery this afternoon. Futzing after that. Patty melts this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 57F, on its way to 70F. Calling for another day with a mix of clouds and sun. Sounds ok to me. Yesterday was so nice, I decided to go outside and do something. Landed on cutting down more trash trees. Whacked 2 or 3 and hauled them to the burn pile. Might do some more today, or maybe continuing work on garden prep. Not sure yet, lol. Tonight is the last night forecasted to be in the 40's. Need to set up hardening off area outside for plants. They're going out tomorrow. Target plant-out is this coming weekend, weather permitting. Glad to hear you're on the mend, Chuck! Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and keep after it.

Good morning. It's 55F on its way to 62F. Cool with showers this AM and then hopefully some sun this afternoon. Got another 1" of rain yesterday. This will be the 5th straight day of rain. Probably averaging 1"/day. I wouldn't mind it if it stopped. The boss is hung up on computer software maintenance stuff .... I'm staying away as this comes with hours (sometimes days) of frustration and bad language. Not sure what I'm doing today. I expect I'll be futzing as far away from the house as possible. @ Sic ..... sorry about the king. Grilling burgers this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 54F, on its way to 63F. Calling for showers this morning, rain this afternoon. Have a few errands to run today, and I prefer not getting wet, lol. I had planned to move the plants outside today, but the weather forecast keeps changing...for the worse. They need to get outside, but now the forecast is for rain the next 7 days, and lows in the low/mid 40's. I think that's just too cold for pepper transplants, especially for several days. Next week, we're supposed to jump to the 60's at night, so I guess I'll wait a bit longer. With all this rain, not much planting is going to happen anyway. Sorry to hear about the kitty, Sic. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's raining and 52F, on its way to 57F. Calling for rain until late this afternoon. Received 1.25" in the last 24 hours. It's supposed to rain until Sunday. Just what we need, 4 more days of rain 🙄. Got wet running errands yesterday. Did NOT enjoy it, lol. Today is a miscellaneous futz day. Maybe some work in the storage unit/garage, but it's kinda chilly for shorts. And after Memorial Day, I don't wear nothin' but shorts, ha! Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and watch out for high water!

Good morning. It's 57F on its way to 68F. Rain this morning. T-Storms this afternoon. Hopefully this is the last day of the monsoon! We've had 6 straight days of gloomy/rainy WX. Getting a few windows and a bunch of screens replaced under warranty this morning. Futzing this afternoon. Grilling burgers this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 56F, on its way to 73F. Calling for an afternoon thunderstorm. Received another 0.31" in of rain in the last 24 hours. Need to run a few errands today, then home and futz. Catherine must be enjoying her vacation, lol. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Going on a walk then to grocery. Burgers tonight. Wings were ok with that habanero honey mustard. I try different sauces from time to time but I think its hard to beat Ol Louisiana and butter. Hot and afternoon showers for the next 5 months. Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. It's 53F on its way to 79F. The rain has finally moved on. It should be sunny and warm today. Spring has returned! Still too wet to do much outside. With all the rain we've had, the garden is looking great. We are inundated with lettuce and radishes. It looks like a good year for the peas too. I have a few straggler pepper plants I need to get in the garden this morning. Probably futzing after that. Grilling salmon this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 62F, on its way to 75F. Calling for a couple of showers and a thunderstorm this afternoon. Only received 0.04" in of rain in the last 24 hours, which is great. We need to start drying out. Need to run a few more errands today, then home and more futzing. Hope everybody has a freaky good Friday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning, though mornings are slow. I think there’s been rain almost everywhere- just slowing down the planting.
The trip to Nashville was filled with family, but I’m glad to be home - rain here, too. Nothing planted yet, maybe I’ll dig a few holes later today as the tomato plants are getting too tall.
So happy to see Chuck here. I’ve been thinking about his recovery, slow and steady.
It’s just good to be back, knowing gardens are slowly being planted and enjoyed.
Have a great day. Take advantage of sun and rain.
