off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Glad you had a good trip. Been raining for hours and we have a cold front coming for two days. High only 88 but low humidity. We are going to a concert tonight. Several bands but Brat is the reason we are going. Chilling until then. Going to mow once it dries up a bit. Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. It's 54F on its way to 86F. Hazy sun due to smoke from the Canadian wildfires. Got out to the garden and planted all remaining straggler garden plants. All 37 beds and the planters are full. I've got a few small ornamental pepper plants left that will get planted in some large pots. I expect to get to that next week. Today, I'm going to trim and then casually futz. I'm going to put off mowing for a few more days. The boss is having a "Girl's Night" with her sisters. I ended up grilling chicken last evening. I think I'll grill salmon this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 63F, on its way to 68F. Calling for a couple of showers and a thunderstorm this afternoon...again. Received another 0.43" of rain in the last 24 hours. I think we're wet enough, it needs to stop for a bit. Can't do much outside, other than cut down more trash trees. Maybe I'll do some of that today, if it doesn't rain🙄. Glad you had a nice vacation, Catherine! Always nice to see family. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 55 to near 90F and finally sunny. Hubby is definitely the ‘gardener’ this year though he doesn’t really like the job. He dug holes for tomatoes at the CG so I’m hoping to finally plant later today. Not much else is going on, just slowly catching up. 😊
Enjoy your day. Take pride is your gardens and hard work.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 49F, on its way to 72F. Calling for hazy sunshine. Sounds good to me. June 1st and still nothing planted in the garden. That's pretty rare. It's just been too cold and wet. Two more nights in the low 40's, then the switch is supposed to flip, and we shoot to the upper 50's/60's for lows. Crazy. Plants should be going out Tuesday to start hardening off. Futzed around in the garage yesterday. Maybe some more of that today. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 61F on its way to 90F. Hot and sunny. Still smokey. Mowing and trimming today (didn't do it yesterday). All plants are in the garden with the exception of a few ornamental pepper plants that will go in pots but no rush on those. I need to check on the brussel sprouts. I dropped seeds for those around a week ago and they're under domes and on heat mats. I wonder if they've sprouted. I need to check. Planning for the fall garden and need to get seeds rounded up. Beef enchiladas and beverages this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 56-81F so summer has started peek through the cold. Busy day yesterday. I hear you, Downriver, with late(r) plantings. I’m still hardening peppers, but did get a few tomatoes planted, thanks to mucho help from daughter. Lots more to plant, some time this week.
Enjoy your day, stay strong and patient.

Good morning. It's 65F on its way to 90F. Hot, humid and sunny. Severe T-Storms tonight. Need to figure out what's going on with one of my mower's rear tires. It's losing air faster than I can put it in. After that, regular Monday chores and then maybe finish mowing. Grilling burgers and having some beverages this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 49F, on its way to 75F. Calling for hazy sunshine again, with smoke from distant wildfires. Spent some time in the garage yesterday, but most of that was cleaning up an oil spill. What a mess! Today, I might venture to the garden, assuming the standing water has receded. If not, probably work on the trash trees. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 54-82F, sunny with storms predicted. Yesterday a friend came over and relieved me of many plants for her garden. I feel blessed she took so much. I add more things for her to try every year, some are great, some die. This year it’s dwarf tomatoes. Her yard is really small so here’s hoping.
Have a beautiful Monday.

Good morning. It's 71F on its way to 80F. Cloudy and windy with T-Storms on the doorstep. Rain is expected all day with 2"+ forecasted. We're under a flood watch. Running an errand this morning and then futzing. Mower rear tire was shot .... had to get a new one. It's always something. Finally got the hot tub display replaced. That project had been on my list for months. Nothing much else is going on. Leftovers this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 55F, on its way to 84F. Calling for hazy sunshine again, with smoke from Canadian wildfires. It was pretty wet getting there, but I actually made it to the garden yesterday. Come to find out, a deer had jumped the fence and spent time grazing. The sugar snap peas that were coming in late are no more. Same with the blueberries that were just starting to turn. Glad I hadn't planted yet, ha. I'll have to add another rung on the fence, I guess. Plants are heading outside today. Yay. The last 40 degree night was last night. Mid/upper 50's/60's going forward. About time. Have trimming and push mowing to do today. Keep up with those exercises, Chuck. I hear that's critical for a good outcome. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. Cold and wet, my tomatoes don’t have much of a chance with the flea beetles and this colder weather. I may have to replant more than I’d like. The garden at home is still not fully tilled - hopefully we’ll have a later Fall since nothing is planted except garlic.
Enjoy your Tuesday. Sunshine will come soon. I hope.
