    Gloves were worn. Hands were washed. Multiple times. I even showered. Yet somehow, oils were retained on my skin or something I touched. Never fails. I wore gloves again tonight while cutting up pods and I washed my hands religiously, yet still I burn. It will be worth it. I cut up a good 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket worth of pods, which are now in the dehydrator making the whole house smell heavenly.

    Ya gotta love that smell when you're dehydrating a bunch of pods! The only scents around the house that can possibly top that are bacon and agarwood.

    So I get a text from my wife who is up in Akron and she found some unmarked, red mystery peppers so she bought a bunch to bring home. Can't wait to see what they are!

    And that is exactly what they are! I had a feeling that is what they were gunna be. She also got me a bunch of other pepper types! Woot!

    I have never had pimientos. These are the sweet ones and are quite tasty! She grabbed about a dozen of them, so I think I am gunna stuff them one of these days. With what? I have no idea... Suggestions?

    Someone I know tried that once. Said he didn't think it could be 'that hot'. It was the funniest thing ever.

    This was about 1:00am too with only a cell phone for light. Our a/c quit blowing air through the vents so I went under to check the duct work out. LOTS of spiders under there, which I usually only saw when my cell phone cast a shadow of them on the walls. I'm guessing it was a spider of some sort that got me. It welted up like crazy, but it has gone down now and all I have is a red dot and a headache.

    I used a good 1/4 of the bottle last night. :D Due to my cast iron stomach and golden colon, no ring of fire this morning. Was this a fermented sauce?

    No it wasn't. Thats plain old nasty white vinegar! I love the stuff. I kinda stopped fermenting as I wasn't happy with the results most times. I do have a fermented ring of fire sauce thats HOT!

    Wow! These Caribbean Reds are turning out to be exceptionally prolific! Woot! I can't believe how many flowers they have on such a little plant!

    I would be, but I haven't quite finished the dark chocolate brownies that I made yesterday - added cinnamon and chipotle chile powder for yummiliciousness. Still…. pecans mmmm!

    If it helps, I also got sweet produce you don't find around where we live like Japanese and Indian eggplant, durian fruit, dried wakeme seaweed and we even found some fresh red habanero/scotch bonnet type mystery peppers and some thai peppers of some sort. All of it was cheaper than dirt too! I just got done drying and grinding the peppers into powders. Got right at about an ounce of powder of each now.

    ^Oh yeah. I've been down in SE Texas, LA, AL, FL, etc. We can't compete with them, but I miss the complete lack of humidity we had in Wyoming. That was nice!

    It can, but it also depends on where you're at in Wyoming. For the most part, summers are hot and dry with pleasant evenings.

    Spinach and yellow bell pepper lasagna tonight. Never made lasagna. Shouldn't be too hard. Pasta is pretty straight forward, right?
