Good morning. 33-54, warmer than yesterday (!). That s- blanket still lingers on the back lawn. Looks like a nice day to work in the basement. Ha ha. Pumpkin needs to be in bread or in the freezer. Have a beautiful Fall day. For sure I’ll enjoy today’s modern conveniences, plus a few older ones.

Good morning. 20-48F and sun for now. It’s Wednesday so there will be something awry in the weather. More pumpkin bread on the docket this AM after coffee group, then who knows? Lots to do but where to begin. I need to organize seeds to see what to buy. I’m not looking forward to seed prices...

Good morning. 23-36F, a good day for baking. We got a lot done at the CG yesterday, even the garlic got planted and the bags of leaves spread on his plot. He seems very happy and overwhelmed. We made plans for thanksgiving dinner, OTE at a nice restaurant and pumpkin pie at son’s house. No...

OCD, I plant Estonian Red and Elephant this year, all hardneck. I bought 5 heads in 2015 and am pleased w/Red Estonian for the larger cloves. If there’s any leftover from today’s planting, I can send you the rest. Just let me know 😊.

Good morning. 30-54F and sunny. It’s a good day to meet the other gardener and help clean up his area, plant garlic, and cover with leaves before the WX predicted rain or snow later this week. I’m looking forward to finally putting the whole CG to rest. Harry, it’s never too early to plan for...

Good morning. 30-50F with that snow still lingering in the CG. Lots of shopping yesterday with daughter, not sure what’s in store for today. Daughter wants to make soup, but that can wait another week. Have a great Sunday. Enjoy the sports games, just stay healthy to tackle all the holiday stuff.

Good morning. 34-49F, hoping to visit the CG and clean up debris from one gardener’s area if most of the snow has gone. He left paraphernalia that should be in the shed. More pumpkin baking, maybe bread, too. Christmas shopping is always an option. Enjoy your weekend. Yes, feed the wildlife...

Good morning. 30-58F, a beautiful Friday. We have a few errands, then lunch with friends, and sharing some canning goodies with an older person. Busy day ahead - just waiting for the snow to melt in the CG to plant more garlic. 🤷‍♀️. Thanks for the suggestions of where to find old signs, Harry...

Good morning. 33-57F with no extra moisture looming. Yet. Ho Ho Ho. Lots of shopping to do. I’m looking for rusted old signs that don’t seem to be found around here, like on the Pickers TV show. Guess I’ll need to make a road trip back East - some day. Baby layette assembly then delivery this AM...

Good morning. 28-49F and sunny. Coffee group, organize some donations for the baby layettes, then maybe Christmas shopping. Looks like a busier day than expected. Wish I could put energy into outside cleanup, not yet. Enjoy the day, take time for the pets. Remember those less fortunate.

Good morning. 34-57F and sunny, hopefully the sun will melt the white blanket. DIL’s birthday and big party today, so we’ll be celebrating much of the day. Nice to see the sun after 5 days of clouds. Have a great rest of the weekend. Remember those less fortunate, hug your pets.

Good morning. 30-40F, cloudy. It’s not time to move yet, Downriver. We’re just getting our winter snow early lol. It makes for good conversation. Nothing is on today’s docket, next week will soon be filled with this week’s mtgs. Maybe it will warm up enough to melt the snow and the other CG guys...

Good morning. 29-35F and guess what - snowing. WX now says more s- tomorrow. Better than 101F but not by much. All of our meetings have been cancelled so we’ll try for coffee group. Guess I could work on cleaning the basement (?). Have a great Friday. Stay warm or cool, just stay healthy and...

Good morning. 17/37F with that s- word still going on. 10-12” so far with 2 more WX predicted days of it. Hubby is finally getting the snow tires mounted on the car this AM along with an oil change. The pumpkin breads we made yesterday were delicious. A gluten free batch is on for today. Happy...

Good morning. 21-35F and snowing still. It looks like I’ll be making pumpkin bread rather than cleaning up outside. Hope your day goes well. Enjoy the sunshine and the moisture when it comes. I cannot imagine life without water, Sic. Thoughts and prayers for this to resolve.

Good morning. 29-49F with lingering snow. WX predicts more snow for the week, but today we’re enjoying the sunshine. Only a couple of errands this AM, then check out what was going on in the middle of the night with an owl screeching next to my window. Probably raccoons, too. Have a beautiful...

Good morning. 30-42F and snowing. WX said we’d have snow on Tuesday - it started on Sunday. Coffee group, errands, then inside stuff. Maybe I’ll get seeds ready for a swap since doing anything outside is a bust. The guy never showed up at the CG yesterday so he’ll have to wait for help with his...
