off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 40F on its way to 64F. Beautiful. Doctor appointment this morning. After that, finishing up mowing and then helping my wife haul garden debris to the burn pile. Working on Medicare this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 50F, on its way to 57F. Nice day. Calling for 29F tonight. That might put an end to the peppers. Today, I need to prep for a freeze. Drain hoses, turn off outside water faucets, drain drip system in the garden, etc. Don't think I'm gonna cover anything. It's time for the garden to take a rest (and me too, ha). Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and start getting used to the cold, lol.

Good morning. It's sunny and 34F, on its way to 51F. A tad chilly this morning. Looks like we got that frost they were forecasting. Got all the hoses, drip lines, etc drained yesterday. Today looks like a good day to continue working on those peppers we picked the other day. Speaking of chilly, I think I'll make a pot of chili today as well, lol. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 53F on its way to 60F. T-Storms. Got a sinus infection .... damn it! Almost got the last mowing of the year done but the deck drive belt broke before I finished. Another damn it! Unbelievable timing. So today, I need to run out and get another belt and install it this afternoon. Lots to do on the healthcare open enrollment front too. Maybe going out for Chinese buffet for lunch. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 28-49F and sunny. Coffee group, organize some donations for the baby layettes, then maybe Christmas shopping. Looks like a busier day than expected. Wish I could put energy into outside cleanup, not yet.
Enjoy the day, take time for the pets. Remember those less fortunate.

Good morning. It's 34F, on its way to 44F. Calling for rain to start late morning. We can use it. Well, we finally got that overdue first frost. The garden has surrendered. Now there's no more excuses for not cleaning it up, ha. Made that chili yesterday. There may be more fresh garden peppers in it than meat, lol. Today is supposed to be an errand day, but it might not be, due to the rain forecast. That's alright, I still got peppers to process. Again, Catherine is the first to use another one of THOSE seasonal words - 🎄🎅. Ho-Ho-Ho! Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 38F on its way to 63F. The sun is just coming up. Might be a little breezy today. Got another 3/4"of rain yesterday. Maybe by this weekend we'll be out of the severe drought category. Trying to fight off my sinus infection. Got my mower fixed up and ready to mow the last part of the yard. Gonna haul multiple truckloads of garden debris to the burn pile today and cut some firewood. Looks like by the middle of next week ..... winter arrives. Not much else is going on today. Enchiladas this evening. Maybe sit in the hot tub tonight. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 33-57F with no extra moisture looming. Yet. Ho Ho Ho. Lots of shopping to do. I’m looking for rusted old signs that don’t seem to be found around here, like on the Pickers TV show. Guess I’ll need to make a road trip back East - some day. Baby layette assembly then delivery this AM (we make 10-12 each month).
Enjoy your day and the weather it brings. Stay safe and healthy.

Good morning. It's 37F on its way to 65F. It should be a very nice day. Need to make a run to one of the big box stores this morning and this afternoon its back out to the garden to finish the cleanup and put it to bed for the winter. Thinking about picking up some fried chicken too. Nothing much else is going on. @ catherine: I've seen lots of those old signs in AZ and NM. Kind of old Route 66 antiquey stuff? I've never looked around here but I think I've seen them in the shops on our town square. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy with light fog and 43F, on its way to 59F. Might be some sun later this afternoon. Not a terrible day, I guess. Ran a couple of had-to-be done errands yesterday, the rest will be done today. Hope everybody has a freaky good Friday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 30-58F, a beautiful Friday. We have a few errands, then lunch with friends, and sharing some canning goodies with an older person. Busy day ahead - just waiting for the snow to melt in the CG to plant more garlic. 🤷‍♀️. Thanks for the suggestions of where to find old signs, Harry. Road trip closer to home will have to wait for summer - maybe.
Enjoy your Friday. Stay healthy as best you can.

Good morning. It's 44F on its way to 66F. Breezy and mild. Yesterday, we got all the large garden debris hauled to the brush pile. Today, we're raking out all the beds (removing all rotten tomatoes, fallen pods ....etc). Tomorrow we'll amend the beds and then I think we'll be done (finally!!). Watching CFB this afternoon. Got out some ribeyes to grill this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's 52F, on its way to 60F. Calling for sunny, breezy, and pleasant. What's not to like?, ha. Got a little over an inch of rain over the last couple of days, which we can always use. Finished running all the errands yesterday. Now I need to empty the truck, including the birdseed tonnage that was purchased, ha. Other than that, I'll probably just futz around today, maybe inside, maybe outside - not sure which yet, lol. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and remember the wildlife. They get hungry too.🙂

Good morning. 34-49F, hoping to visit the CG and clean up debris from one gardener’s area if most of the snow has gone. He left paraphernalia that should be in the shed. More pumpkin baking, maybe bread, too. Christmas shopping is always an option.
Enjoy your weekend. Yes, feed the wildlife, especially the birds this winter season. Stay safe and healthy.
