off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 56F on its way to 65F. Cloudy with a slight chance of rain. Got all the raised beds raked out and all the debris hauled to the burn pile. We had several full truckloads and this morning I'm feeling it. All the beds have been amended too. All that's left is to put up the garden ornaments and stack some tomato cages in the garden shed. I'll do that today. Then we'll officially have the garden put to bed. Breakfast in a bit. Watching NFL this afternoon. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 29F, on its way to 60F. Another heavy frost down the hill, where the garden's at. Guess that'll be pretty common the next 3–4 months. Emptied the truck out yesterday. Added a few more feeders :crazy:, then filled them all up. Forgot I hadn't peeled the loffa yet. Worked on those until the mosquitoes attacked. When do those little bastiages die?! Anyway, today is a chill day. Probably watch some NFL. Might start bagging seeds for an upcoming swap. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and let those bodies rest!
 
Good morning. 30-50F with that snow still lingering in the CG. Lots of shopping yesterday with daughter, not sure what’s in store for today. Daughter wants to make soup, but that can wait another week.

Unfortunately, we have Dr's appointments today, so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to take advantage of the nice weather. We'll see. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Good morning. It's 64F on its way to 67F. Raining and windy. We finally got all the garden cleanup done yesterday. The garden has now been put to bed for the winter:woohoo:. The WX forecast has winter arriving later this week. I think we're futzing today. I might relax and read a book this afternoon or I might start cleaning up my office. Too early to start planning for next year's garden. I've been told that I'm grilling pork chops this evening. Maybe I can convince the boss to do Margarita Monday :think:. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. 30-54F and sunny. It’s a good day to meet the other gardener and help clean up his area, plant garlic, and cover with leaves before the WX predicted rain or snow later this week. I’m looking forward to finally putting the whole CG to rest. Harry, it’s never too early to plan for next year’s garden (!). I’m always perusing old catalogs. . .

Good morning. It's cloudy and 46F, on its way to 62F. Chance of showers this afternoon. The only thing good abut Dr's appointments on Monday, is you're already dressed and out and about, so you might as well go to 🍹 Margarita Monday 🍹! And they were good, ha! Today is an indoor futz day, I think. I still have some peppers left to process from that last picking the other day. Not sure if it's going to be another sauce, powder, or perhaps a jelly. Dunno. Guess it'll come to me once I start, ha. And yeah, I'm starting to enjoy watching them Cowboys! Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and dodge the drops or flakes.
 
Good morning. 23-36F, a good day for baking. We got a lot done at the CG yesterday, even the garlic got planted and the bags of leaves spread on his plot. He seems very happy and overwhelmed.
We made plans for thanksgiving dinner, OTE at a nice restaurant and pumpkin pie at son’s house. No stress there.

OCD, I plant Estonian Red and Elephant this year, all hardneck. I bought 5 heads in 2015 and am pleased w/Red Estonian for the larger cloves. If there’s any leftover from today’s planting, I can send you the rest. Just let me know 😊.

Good morning. It's 36F on its way to 50F. High winds are in the forecast for later this morning/afternoon. Planning on taking a walk this morning. Still got some nice leaf lettuce out in the garden that I need to harvest. Not sure what I'm doing this afternoon. Maybe some garden planning, office rearranging, fishing tackle futzing or book reading? The boss got some new pots and pans. I've been told fettucine is on today's menu. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's sunny and 54F, on its way to 68F. Calling for rain this afternoon. Of course they are. I have another Dr's appointment this afternoon. I hate driving in the rain. Don't know what's going on after that. Sic - that's no bueno to no drilling yet. Did they ever figure out what happened to the old well? Just curious. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Good morning. 20-48F and sun for now. It’s Wednesday so there will be something awry in the weather. More pumpkin bread on the docket this AM after coffee group, then who knows? Lots to do but where to begin. I need to organize seeds to see what to buy. I’m not looking forward to seed prices for 2025.
