The Conservatives, much like your Republicans, certainly banked on negativity and based their platform on personal attacks and dismissive behavior. They thought they could couple that with fear tactics and telling the people to "settle" for them because they couldn't do better. They constantly...
First time I've ever seen a single party win every single seat in the Atlantic provinces - Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI & Newfoundland (and Labrador). In my opinion it's certainly a good thing, even though I don't agree with some of the Liberal thoughts. Here in my riding in Nova Scotia it...
I admittedly have the same trouble most of the time, but I like to think my nose is slowly learning over time. I find the Habanero varieties I've grown (Red, typical orange and Black Congo) all smell/taste more sour/bitter than the other Chinense varieties I've tried. Typical Bhuts/Nagas are...
I just looked up some photos of those and that may well be one good possibility. :)
Do they smell/taste anything like Naga/Bhut? I might have to get up the nerve to try one of these at some point to try and get a feel for the heat level.
Hey folks,
Although many of the labels for the plants I've grown this year have faded, I kept a detailed list of what I've grown so I can deduce what each of them are... Except this one. This plant is around two years old at this point and didn't produce any pods at all last year. I got the...
According to the description in the video this dude had attended a chili festival before the fight..

I did a bit of digging and found this article that seems to go into more detail on this Capicum Ustulatum: http://www.fieryfoodscentral.com/2014/01/04/the-qtrue-chili-capsicumq/ :)
Well I know of at least one hot sauce producer in Prince Edward Island that I originally discovered by spotting one or two of his products at a local Sobeys a year or two ago. Since first discovering his products his product line has definitely expanded and so has the variety of products his...
I have to agree with SmokenFire's response. :)
Hot sauce producers easily go through pounds of pods at a time - and that's even the smallest of them. Over on Twitter I've slowly been building up a following mostly just by posting my progress in learning & growing and posting plenty of photos...
This is my first year having a greenhouse and after around two years of planning & learning I've only finally gotten my business name registered. My main business focus will be towards seed sales across Canada, but I do aim to do some sales of fresh pods and powders (the powders as a byproduct...
Aphids are so damn evil.. This is my first year having an actual greenhouse and most of my plants are doing -amazing-.. But already the aphids are starting to return now that the weather is starting to cool and the ladybug numbers are lessening. I'm going to keep my plants in the greenhouse as...
You're absolutely right.. I've just been so busy with work this season that most of my updating has been done through Twitter ( http://www.twitter.com/superhotscanada ).
I have a posted a couple more video clips on YouTube, as well... The latest is this one:
But here are some photos...
That sucks about your peppers, dude :(
Over here in Nova Scotia we've had some periods where it seemed like the rain would never end, but we've also had tons of sun and some awesome heat in the past month or more. This is my first year having a greenhouse and the plants are doing amazing -...
Nearly a month later.. Here are the same pods and D3monic was definitely spot-on about the mature colors:
They were the first to start growing on my Cheiro Roxa plants (I have three of them) and the first to mature. :)
Now I just need to be patient and wait on the dozens more that are...
My White Bhuts are coming out much the same - most of the pods growing are shorter and smoother than other varieties of Bhut I am growing (I'm also growing Naga Jolokia, Orange Bhut and Indian Carbon). I got the seeds for my Whites from PepperLover. :)
