Title says it all. Looking for recommendations for a pH meter that can be used for soil and water.
I did some research online and think my tap water at home is about 8.5 pH.
Ive been using it on my plants and think I have some nutrient lockout.
If I find that is the case, so I get some...
There should be no problem pickling superhots like this. Sorry I didnt see this earlier I spend most of my time in the growing peppers section.
The only thing to think about is that most superhots have much thinner walls than jalapeños. He says they are ready in a week and he likes them after...
Might have to do with change in temps. Crosses only happen in the seeds of a crossed plant.
So for example you have a bhut next to a scorpion. The scorpion pollinates the bhut. The pods are still bhut. But the seeds inside that pod, when grown out, will be crossed.

Yeah its this one where some experienced hydro growers (both kratky and dwc) talk about all kinds of setups and 1000 ppm
You can pull the whole thing out and report into a larger pot. Those roots that are showing will also become woody and could make for a great bonchi in the future.

I think you will ultimately get more pods if you pick ripe ones rather than leaving them on the plant, but those fully loaded plants with a ton of ripe pods certainly look very cool.
I have heard of Spinosad but never looked into it. I already had Azamax which has worked great on mites and the packaging says it also works on aphids. Will give them a check up today and squish any of the little buggers still hanging on.
Store bought tomatoes are the worst. NOTHING compares to a home grown, vine ripened tomato.
And the TOMATO is also the key ingredient in a good BLT. Lettuce is fine, bacon is always good. But a good, sweet tomato really makes it.
Also pick up the pot when fully watered so you can compare how heavy it is to a drier and lighter pot.
Are you going for dormancy or just cutting it back and planning to let it grow slowly indoors over the winter. This will make a big difference in how much water it needs as a growing plant...
