High 30s stress the plants, but should not cause any permanent harm. Bring them in before you get a hard freeze!

I might have some Nu-Mex type seeds in my collection.  Lemme dig around later today.   EDIT Found some Joe E Parker and NuMex Conquistador seeds. Holler if you have trouble finding a local source - I'll send you a few.

Put me down for ~1.4kg in total.  I stopped weighing a while back, right around 1200g, with the poor plant beset by hornworm and wind damage.  It's got maybe a dozen pods left.

I don't understand why everyone always wants to rip the leaves off their plants.   :rolleyes:   Leave the poor things alone!  If they are getting enough heat and light to make leaves worthwhile, they will retain them.  If it's too cold or dark, the plant will re-absorb some of the leaves'...

The narrow stem is due to fungus, which grows in overly moist soil.  Using less water should cure the issue.   Don't worry about the leaf tips.  

YEA!!!   :dance:   The plants appear to have survived my first serious attempt at killing them!  :rolleyes:  Was futzing about a few evenings ago and forgot to put them back under the 30/70 shade cloth that they've been hiding under for the last while.  Got home the next day day to find them...
