Considering I have Hab sauces hotter then some ghost sauces I explain to people while the pepper does add the heat, it also adds flavor. So when you try a ghost or scorpion sauce and love the flavor but the heat is lacking you don't need a hotter pepper, just more of it.

I use colored straws. I have found the lines fade off the white one after a year but the ones made of colored plastic are great. Cut into small 1/8inch pieces and slit open. Go right over the stem and don't hamper growth. I catalog crosses and so when my isolated pods are ripe I know what I have.

Just a thought here, but I would disassemble it and use the pieces to create the 2 or 3 bulb unit I needed or make a suitable size space for it.

When I was a noob I figured ask pepper plants were fine with square foot gardening. Holy canopy with few peppers.

Don't soak here but may have to start. I get great germ rates with my seed, but if I didn't collect it hit or miss. Soaking seeds from other sources sounds like a good plan here.

Nice. I hand peal 5 lb bags and after my harvest all of them. Then I shred them, bag in one pound bags and freeze them.
