Heat mats are not needed after they pop.  The increased temp just helps them germinate.

Of all coffees, dry processed coffees are my favorite.  This is where they dry the beans while they are still inside the fruit.  If you ever come across any, they taste amazing.  My absolute favorite coffee ever was Ethiopian Tchembe.

I couldn't tell you if our setup will fruit plants.  I can tell you two things though.  You will want to start with some plants that stay pretty short.  A lot of wilds will work.  Baccatums would be my choice though.  Planted in my raised beds, my Aji Limon and Pineapple never got more than 24"...

Also, as SR said a few posts ago, an empty soup can will work too.  The whole point is to make sure the beans don't go flying out when the roast is finishing and they weigh a lot less.  I have been fortunate so far.  My roaster never spits beans with 3.5oz in the chamber.  I can imagine the pain...

    So I am a bit confused.  How do you measure these out?  It says you can use some of the same stuff to cover multiple areas.   Calcium Nitrate for example.  It is in the 190ppm NO3 and the 18ppm NH4.  So would I add 208ppm?  Plus another 170ppm for Ca?
