Last season I got my peppers really hot, I think it's due to the compost I used

That's not true at all. The only way the normal peppers would be hot from that is if they cross pollinated, and that wouldn't have an effect until the next year if you save seeds. Planting sweet or mild peppers beside hot peppers won't have any effect on that years pods.

    Please identify

If they're calling it hot it shouldn't be cubanelle. Looks like a New Mexico type pepper to me, very similar to the New Mex 6-4 I have growing this year.

    Jubnat's 2017 grow log

Can't help with the caterpillar, but based on the second bugs back legs I'd say that's leaf footed bug nymphs. Those things have been horrific for me in the past.

    Zapotec Jalapeno Memorial Group

Love these peppers, and the story behind them. I was introduced to them by Gary last year, and they immediately became my favourite jalapeno. Awesome flavour, nice thick flesh and hotter than other jals I've tried. I've got no pics atm, but have 6 plants in the ground, and first wave of pods...

nutrients does this look like over nute or overwatering?

How long have they been outside? That looks similar to what happens to the large older leaves on my plants when I move them out of my hardening off zone into full sun.

7 Pot Yellow and SB MOA Yellow

I have definite production drop off with most of the Chinense I've grown during the peak of summer here, and our temps are usually only mid-high 90's so it's a definite possibility that too much sun/heat is possible.

Damn I miss the convenience of grabbing a pie from the servo or bakery back home for a quick bite. Luckily I found a decent recipe so I can make my own now.

I signed up on that site last year and haven't heard or seen anything unfortunately. If you have Entergy as your electricity provider you can get free wood chips through them.
