I use shade cloth and the shade from my fruit trees in my yard. The key to growing successfully is to get a jump start on your seedling plants early , overwinter plants or a combination of both.
I can tell you I have done is the following season grow fewer peppers and the types you will consume and make sauces and powders that you will use and consume. I've gone from growing 100 plants half which were super hots down to 25 plants with only 1 or 2 super hots. I'm counting red savinas...
I've made the switch this season to all grow bags and air pruning pots. I think I have 3 dozen 7 gallon pots now besides several dozen grow bags. I think I have a total of 3 dozen various types of tomatoes, peppers, berries and citrus in them this season.
My avocado's are doing well but I can say they are the hardest fruit tree to grow in containers. But it can be done successfully. If you come out this month I'll give you some pointers. :)

My guess it that is the stuff that floats to the top when cooking the sauce that I always skim off and discard and it looks like you didn't do that and it stayed in the sauce that went into the bottles. That is my guess from what I can see in your bottles.
Just ordered another 10 pack of 5 gallon rootmaker pots to transplant peppers into from smaller containers. After this order I will have all tomatoes and peppers in the future going into rootmaker or grow bags for root-pruning method of growing.

Just added 5 more blueberry plants to the garden now we are at 17 and counting . Soon Ill have a berry farm lol.
This makes me a berry happy man
