The Fire of Nil's Indoor Jungle

Two of my peppers have started their second set of leaves and have been transplanted, they were also the first to hook. Pictured is a Peach Ghost Scorpion and a CGN 22091 is the other winner. I will be posting all my photos in my GLOG gallery to save space here. Link...

The Fire of Nil's Indoor Jungle

The LED is a red/blue with UV and IR bandwidths as well. Only a 150w panel but with the mylar tent it provides ample light. I do use 2 additional 12w red/blue floods on the young plants to give them a little extra somethin' somethin'. Edit: The grow tent is 5x5 and plenty tall, will be growing...

    Marvin's 347 grow 2k16

Very healthy looking plants, I'm using general hydro for soil and hydro grows this year. It is good stuff.   Seriously though your plants look pristine. I even prefer them a little leggy now because vertical growth is easier to harvest in my setup.

    Blisters 2016 LED Coco grow

Sometimes with limited space, you still just NEED to grow peppers... I understand... RIP my floor space in my study. Good choice on LED, I've heard good things about the spectrum on that BlackStar.

    TC's 2016 Pepper Patch

Super awesome grow so far, very excited to see how the serrano cross pan's out. If it ends up being pretty prolific I might be interested in seeds for next season :P

The Fire of Nil's Indoor Jungle

I'd like to note, that I've PH balanced all watering I've done and the root development in the plugs and the seedlings have all been extremely healthy. The only seedlings I've culled were so the dominant plants could have their space - none have been culled from dying or stressed seedlings.  ...

The Fire of Nil's Indoor Jungle

Yes, 7 of my chinense's and the Farmer's Jalapeño will be indoor, others will start indoors and move outside.   Update: All varieties have been put in solo cups save a few late hooks and the pubescens which is taking it's time throwing hooks, I think I see some disruption in the plugs though to...

The Fire of Nil's Indoor Jungle

Going on the 9th day, first sign of true leaves on CGN's (too small to photo quite yet). And last couple varieties showing hooks, the slowest so far have been the annuums and my one pubescens. all the chinenses have been growing like weeds. Added rapidstart by general hydroponics to the water...

The Fire of Nil's Indoor Jungle

This pic is actually from the day I was excited about all the seeds germinating on the 24th, never uploaded it, but that is all my CGN seeds exploding at once.     Getting set, almost all ready, just waiting on growth. Peach Ghost Scorpions and CGN 22091s given some more space/inclination to...

    Anyone use this stuff?

I've heard of success using Tomato-tone in the initial potting mix with peppers, but haven't personally used it. I grow indoor so the potent smell of their ferts is more prevalent.
