Another lovely score from Jamie (romy6).  Jamie is one of the most generous members here on THP!  Thanks again brother!

When Judy sent me one to do a review on she said it was a cross between a Primo and Moruga Red.  Now, I'm not sure if she meant Moruga Scorpion or an actual Moruga Red.  Guess I should have gotten that clarified with her.

    pests What happened? (pest-related)

Nope, caterpillars will eat the pods too.   Pepper weevils will leave very tiny holes in the pepper.  A weevil wouldn't leave a hole the size of the on in the pic.

I'd say either a caterpillar or a bird.

    Compmodder26's 2014 Grow Log - Supers ripening

Thanks Chuck, couldn't agree more about the fresh pods.  And I'm crossing my fingers that Mama Brown will put out just as huge pods this year as last year.  As for taste, here's a review I did of one of them last year:   I love the taste of Jimmy Nardelos.  They have that certain annuum taste...

Great progress!  They are recovering quite nicely!

    They look great, but...

Indeed, Annuums are quite a bit faster growers than Chinenses.

    Compmodder26's 2014 Grow Log - Supers ripening

First harvest of the season!  WAY ahead of where I was last year.  I don't think I had a harvest until July last year.     Nothing that hot, but nevertheless, it's a start.  Had a Jalapeno and a Mariachi with my lunch and they were so freaking good!   Top (L to R): Huge Bell, Jalapenos Bottom (L...

    Drying Peppers, making Pepper Powder...

Douglahs are VERY bitter to me when fresh,  but smoking them works wonders.  The bitterness goes away and the smoky flavor from the wood takes over.  In my opinion, that is the only way to use Douglahs.

    They look great, but...

Nothing to be concerned about.  They are putting out more nodes, which gives potential for more peppers.  Be happy they are staying compact.  They'll have a thicker stem which will allow them to hold more pods and will give greater durability against wind.  Your plants are doing naturally, what...

    Compmodder26's 2014 Grow Log - Supers ripening

Well after I shot that video, I noticed over the weekend that Mama Brown was starting to set some pods!  I've counted at least 10 forming thus far.  Here's a couple of them:       Here's hoping she puts out pods as big and hot as these again:

    Flowers not creating pollen?

My overwintered 7 Pot Brown did this as well.  It had very lush green growth, and plenty of flowers, but they just wouldn't set pods.  I didn't panic, and just let her take her time, and she has now started setting pods, and quite a few at that.  If the plant looks healthy, and you are sure that...

    total wilt? in one day?

If I were you, any plant that starts to exhibit signs of this should be uprooted and moved as far away from your other plants as possible.
