More reason to consider something unstable...IMO....nontypical shape and wrong color? Not good.

My thoughts were that a seed that grows a plant full of nontypical pods, not even one advertised pod, cannot be be even close to a stable variety. It is more stable for the pods it grows, not the ones it is supposed to.

Nice Shane, mine was addicted to a certain hormone that made it grow like that. I have since made it go 'cold turkey'. Or maybe it was just nature, who knows. got pods now

If a variety is still variable to me that means on a plant you will get some true pods and some VARIABLES. Now if you get a plant and it grows all nontypical pods, is that variety variable or unstable? To truly get a true type pod, my guess you would need a cutting from the proper producing...

I fertilize and medicate as needed, plants nutrient uptake differs with weather, heat and size. Pests are only sprayed when present......too easy to overdue or under due if you try and put everything on a rigid schedule.

Ed had his lawyer contact a member already and a mention was made about genetic testing of any reapers that are sold as a blocking maneuver to the trademarking rule if the pods are 'renamed" by the grower. they sound pretty serious about it

From what I understand, the name is trademarked......
