if it was mold I'd toss it or at least boil it before trying it. It is NOT worth getting sick over. What recipe did you use. Amounts of ingredients to salt and method you used to ferment? Did you use airlocks? Maybe we can figure out what went wrong so next time you get a good ferment.And...
Some bubble up like crazy..Others sometimes it is hard to see and just putts a long slowly..I've heard too much salt will slow it down a lot..I'm usually between 4 and 6% by weight..Trying to lower that now that I'm keeping better track of my recipes..
Real good..I like them PM me your address I'll send ya seeds from both of the phenos i planted from..Both turned out red..But the red pod produced way bigger pods..The yellow pod were smaller and smooth..
It is all about what you like..Some I add very little if any vinegar to some I add a lot..All depends on what YOU want the final product to be. And yeah on the sauerkraut it would probably help kick off your kraut too..
Been real busy at work..But have made another ferment up last weekend, it is boiling over even at 67 degrees in here..It looks better then the pic does.It is a sauce made with 7 Pot Burgundy x GGN21500 for the heat..Thanks to D3 for this fantastic cross.
