Yeah, I think it was around 2000 that Habaneros were declared the Hottest in the World. They probably just haven't updated that data in their packaging.

    fermenting chsy83's first pepper ferment

Interesting thing, the yellow ferment smells strikingly like maple syrup . . . Finished the red to rave reviews.  It has a kick to it!  I added some garlic, some agave, and a little vinegar to it.

    chsy83's 2014

Well, I have totally run out of room, so I did not get to the anuums or the frutescens on my list, . . . but I have a ton regardless.  I will try to remember to post something soon.  18 varieties started, one of which I know had no survivors . . . the giant red rocoto.  Not its fault, however. ...

    food Pickling Super hots?

My mom grew a whole bunch of cukes, and I grew a whole bunch of supers last year, so I got her to add some supers to some batches of dills that she made for me.  One dorset naga in a jar of pickles makes a noticeable difference!

    Pepper Nutrition

Yeah, I made some tea that I spiked with some organic slow-release stuff, and it turned out black.  Opaque Black.  So I decided to dilute it more than my usual brew.  I spilled some on my thumb and my skin turned paper white where it got on me.  Thinking maybe the rock phosphate . . . Plants...

The red went just over a month.  The yellow was started later, and is still going.  Probably let it go for 4-6 months.

    A Learning Curve - Physics' 2014 Glog

I think several of us would like those instructions.  I agree with jojo, some perlite would probably go well in there.  Check out PepperGuru if you haven't already, he has some mixes that he plays around with and posts the recipes to.  He has amazing results with peppers.

    What is going on here?

Here is a question . . . where are your plants?  My first year growing, I had really bad aedema, and it is not necessarily exclusively overwatering that causes it (technically, you could still call it overwatering, but you will see my point in a second), but also the humidity in the growing...

    vendor pepperlover.com

I just pictured somebody giving a whole bunch of tailors some peppers.   I couldn't resist . . . I love word humor.  No malice intended.   I agree with the general sentiment of the posters on this thread.
