    the ones I have growing are again a totaly different phenotype Ok first let me say, I am not judging anyone nor taking sides, just presenting my observations notice the shape and coloring of the unripe pods, dark green and of an ovoid shape, the texture is smooth similar to habanero the nodes...

    Hi Candice, I'll just go out and take a few picks, mine haven't ripened yet ....but they are dark green and a complete different shape than yours. the other white plant also from same source is different to this one...... pics to follow

    perhaps the weather was a bit cooler and their uptake of moister was a bit slower...they do look a bit wet???

    THe Trinidad Morouga and the Trinidad Morouga Blend are definatley the one and the same variety as for the Morouga Red this is a more of a congo type variety which also has a yellow strain......

    Hi Joe, I've grown them also and yes they are a long season plant, they don't mind a wetter soil, they like a bit of shade or dappled shade simliiar conditions to C. Pubescens I'd say....

    Hey Mezzo, that pod looks like something may have laid som eggs in the pod (the black circular mark) ...cut it open see what you can find they look like Burgundy T Scorps sorta smooth like the Butch T or AJ's T Scorps.....prob about 3cms across
