Dont like to freeze them myself. Tried it and i dont like the taste after being in the freezer too long. Like to dehydrate some for powders and keep whole dried pods to re-hydrate them in vinegar for sauces or food when needed. Drying them locks in more flavour IMO.
:welcome: Ronan from Ontario
There is a chance they will sprout but seedlings that small will be highly susceptible to weather/insects. Your also in Canada like me and you wont have enough time to get them to harvest if they get that far. Your best bet is to start them in seedling trays indoors...
Awesome list Grant. Crazy heat in there and more interesting cross i cant wait to see. As someone said earlier no babysitters and keep the dogs out of the garden.
cheers!
Nice to see you got them outside Beerswimmer! We pretty much got the same weather as you in Ontario. Looks like a nice week to harden off.
Looking forward to seeing your pics
From what i know the chocolate fatalii is a cross between a fatalii red and a brown peruvian/aji brown done by a guy named Scotch Sonnet Steve (SBS) a few years back.
Agree with the Chocolate bhut being a good one to grow. Nice heat and produces lots of pods. Love the Douglah and the insane heat but doesnt produce very much for me anyways. That being said iv'e been growing it the last 3 years. As for the 7 Pot Brown, after seeing that video...
Very Cool vid man. Everything looks awesome. Plants are are Huge and already producing heaps of pods. Never heard of the Savana 7 pot but it looks Sweeeeeettt!
Good stuff!
Cheers!
