well I am jonesing for some fresh peppers. My red carribeans and douglahs are blooming ,I can't wait to start getting some to eat fresh. I had made up a bunch of douglah poppers from the fall but they are finally gone so I am looking forward to getting some more.
thats what I use is a wooden one and I look forward to the taste it adds, I wash it if I cut meat or chicken but for the most part I leave it for the wife :>)
I could be wrong but if you didn't disturb the soil at all just put it in a hole with all the soil still intact ,it will be OK. I do this with no problem but when I water I only water the area around the root ball and plug that was transplanted!
thanks for the reply. I just bought a yard of sifted top soil and a yard of cotton burr compost. I know this stuff is hot it was smoking when he pulled it from the bottom. I may need to till some oak leaves in it to tame it down!! what do you think cappy?
