Thanks. You don't owe me a thing though. You have helped many a chilihead and that is good enough for me.

wanted Looking for a couple varieties...

Hey guys, I know I have been somewhat MIA for a while so feel free to throw rotten vegetables at me. My 2012 season will be starting in February and I was hoping to add two more varieties to my grow list. The Yellow Trinidad Scorpion (CARDI) and the Barrackapore 7 Pod/Pot. If anyone is...

    AJs 2012 Season - A Pictorial Discussion

Understandable. Yea working with family can be difficult. Especially when it is something you are so passionate about. I am glad to see you have seeds germinating already.

    AJs 2012 Season - A Pictorial Discussion

While I have not had experience with Hoffmans I do this to hydrate my bale of Pro-Mix. It is a bit time consuming but gets the job done. Looking good AJ. Are you going to give your cousin seedlings to grow again this season?

    breeding Cross Pollination

I apologize for taking so long to reply but... Tulle comes in a variety of sizes and I believe grades as well. I bought a 1' wide roll of it from Walmart. Originally I measured out 18"-24" then folded that in half and sewed the two sides. This creates a bag that I secure with this stretchy...

    AJs 2012 Season - A Pictorial Discussion

Very nice AJ. I am firing up the old grow box tonight. I will not bee planting peppers until February but I will get some lettuce and basil going. I am kicking around the idea of starting a few carrots as well. I hope you have a better season then last. You guys have some intense heat in Texas.

I'm with Potawie it can be very frustrating to en up with something you were not expecting after so much time and effort. I isolate with tulle bags I sew myself. That process can be frustrating as well. Good luck.

    What to plant next?

No need for a trade. I would be happy to send a few for free.

    Love the New Look!

It is really nice to see this site being regularly upgraded. It would be easy for THP to just leave well enough alone but the guy actually tries for improvements. Very nice to see... Thanks...

How big does the butch t and brain strain plants get?

Very nice WC. As the others have said it depends on a number of factors. Smaller containers and/or trimming can keep them smaller, but they have the genetic ability to grow fairly large.

    What to plant next?

I would recommend trying the Yellow 7 Pod/Pot. I believe I have a few seeds I could share. If you are interested PM me. Maybe also the Chocolate Bhut? For a lesser heat I enjoyed the Thai Orange this past season. I don't however have any seeds of that variety to share. I am going to have...

Do you plan on experimenting with it in the future? It might pay off in less extreme seasons?

    Nerd Pron

I am extremely jealous. I am only rocking a single gtx 460. I can't imagine what BF3 looks like with 580s in SLI. I hope to build a new rig in the spring. My Q6600 @ 3ghz isn't horrible, but I am certainly itching for something more powerful. What kind of case you have that setup in. I...

harvesting AJs Last Harvest of 2011

Like everyone else said, there is always next year. I am also incredibly sorry to see that Roscoe passed on. As a dog owner myself, I know how hard it is to lose a member of the family. Ike looks very handsome though. I hope you have countless great years with him. Also, I like your...

    Josh's Plants & Pods 2011

Hey thanks. In regards to the poppers. Yours look great. I have done beer batter as well as Italian bread crumbs. I bread them frozen and deep fry them briefly. Basically until they are lightly golden browned. From there I put them in the oven at like 375-400 degrees. I honestly don't...
