    Naga Green Sauce: "Green Hell"

Kinda stuck at the financing and writing the business plan stage. In a holding pattern waiting to see how the financial/political situation pans out. Our government seems to have lost it's mind about now and I'm not sure it's the best time to start a small business. Still, the dream remains...

A WORD ABOUT OFF TOPIC POSTS....

Politics, religion, and sensitive topics are not allowed. Yes, there is freedom of speech, but this is also a privately owned forum. These topics just lead to arguments." This is a great forum and we all get along reasonably well. Personally I don't mind political discussion but it just never...

    Naga Green Sauce: "Green Hell"

A friend of mine, who I gave a couple naga plants to this past spring, gave me a huge bag of green nagas. I don't know why she picked 'em green but she did. They seem to still be fairly potent. I decided to make a salsa verde with 'em. Tomatillas, etc. I might fire roast the nagas. I will post...

    please explain Mr Conway Twitty

Conway Twitty. Old school country, great voice. Backup band 'The Twitty Birds". Was a rock'n'roll/ rockabilly singer in the late 50s before going straight country. Recorded some duets with Loretta Lynn. I like to listen to the likes of Conway Twitty while drinking American whiskey. Also like...

misc f@#$ it im drinking ;)

The only pumpkin ale ( that I've tried anyway) worth drinking. Decent but not great. Last night I had a bottle of Gulden Draak. http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/48/155/ Very nice Belgian Tripel. Almost as good as Delerium Tremens and Tripel karmeleit.

    spirits Who's Aging Beers Here?

That's one of the best beers to age. It really is pretty gnarly at first but mellows out real well. I always buy a couple sixers and have some going back to 2004, maybe 2003.... I wish Ross still posted here. He knew a lot about aging beers.

    `Global Warming`

Not sure if I buy into Global Warming but climate change does happen. Whether or not humans are causing it I don't know but I bet we sure ain't helping things. The drought and extreme heat here this summer are why my pepper crop failed. Just say'n. Last year I was happy it stayed warm until Jan...

spirits Some cool tequila I got for my Birthday

Not a fan of Patron. For the money there are much better Tequilas out there. Patron is all about hype and branding. I think it's owned by John Paul DeJoria, a co-founder of John Paul Mitchell Systems...yeah, the hair products company. For the money you spend on Patron try some Don Julio...

Has anyone here ever made Absinthe

I've thought about it...the Euro is actually down now...but it's a bit of a hassle and I don't want to pay that shipping. I may just wait to see which other absinthes become available here. I rather like just being able to buy it in the liquor store.
