Had Stone's Imperial Stout for the first time. Good but it didn't knock my socks off. Something just showed up: Deschutes' RED CHAIR IPA. If it's anywhere nearly as good as their Hop Henge I'm in for a treat.

To me the "filler" beers are Mexican and German these days. Tecate, Spatten, Warstiener, Bittbuger, Dos Equis, Sol, etc. I'm old and picky.

I'll buy that for a dollar! I have a used copy of the first one and have watched it a couple of times. Still need to see the other 2. Pretty damn goofy but I enjoyed it. I'm a sucker for those BLADE movies too. Yeah, see NEAR DARK. It is awesome.

My wife is reading these stupid books. Even she says they suck but can't stop reading them. I told her to read some real literature like Harry Potter. NEAR DARK.... now that's a vampire movie.

Exactly. That pretty much explains the liberties taken with the existing Star Trek universe. Still, I can understand why some may not like all the changes... but I dug the hell out of it.
