Been a while since I updated.
I had my first big black mamma pod. Very very hot. Just an all around Nasty hot pod. I didn't mind the flavor. It was a little unique. Not really sure of what to compare it to. Would probably make an excellent powder.

Sorry guys I didn't mean to leave yall hanging. There was a point were the post got buried so I didn't think much of it. It turns out it's an off pheno peach wasp. Some other guys growing it got the same thing. I had it labeled right.
Anyways I sent some pods to a few guys. If anyone wants...
I count on rain so I can collect it and use throughout the season for my grow. I'm sure it saves me a ton of money on RO water, but at the same time can't stand it when it's constant coming down on everything causing the ph to go outta wack. It's a love hate relationship.
I use the blue 10 dollar ebay ppm meter and it works great. No need for a $100 meter that does the exact same thing.
I'm interested to see how perlite works. I've never actually seen perlite in person. Is it the squishy or hard?
I will be doing 8 plants this winter in my same hydro NFT system that I used last year, except no tomatoes.
I have only decided on 3 of the 8 so far. 7 Pot Jonah, Yellow Fatalii, and Peach Wasp. Cant make up my mind on the others yet.
Man that's a bummer on the pods that didn't make it. I really wish you got a chance to try that peach wasp.
CGN22091 is from Pepper Lover.
Its a wild. It grows really fast but the pods take forever to ripen. The stem is really unique as it doesn't have a woody type traditional stem. It has...
LMFAO Bro I couldn't stop laughing. Im glad you were psyched to get them. Not sure if you tried it yet but the Mustard Scorpion for me seemed hotter than the Jonah. Let me know if you think it is!
Thanks for the shout out
Like Helvete said there are so many "reaper" pictures that pop up that look nothing like what a reaper is supposed to be.
For instance this is what my so called reapers turned out to look like.
Juanitos if you get a chance since you don't have a ppm meter yet, you should try cutting the dosage in half on a test plant and see if it works for you. I have found that manufacture recommendations are normally too high. Especially for young plants. Not only that they want you to use ore of...
Had my frist Mustard Scorpion, CGN22091, and Lemon Drop. Excellent pods. The Mustard Scorpion is definitely a super.
Labeled some pods for a friend
Its time for Mystery Wine to go into a hydro set up.

I got some yellow Manzano. They came from some really good looking yellowish/oranges pods. No need for trade. PM me I'll give you the addy for a sasbe.
Yeah bud. Tap really sets you back because it has so much in it already. Depends on your tap water but mine comes out the faucet at already 200-300 ppms. Rain waters or RO water is where it's at. Damn near 0 or maybe less than 20 ppm. More room for nutes and no chlorine, minerals, etc.
Yep...
Theres always so much confusion with EC, PPM, etc. For me I never adjust PH anymore since I switched to Technaflora BC. The PH automatically adjusts on its own as the plant feeds.
For me PPM is the easiest way for me. I use rain water that has very little to no ppms to start with. Then when I...
