    Good guy, Bad guy, culprit?

Perhaps not, so some kind of Ladybird larvae maybe? I have also uploaded it to a UK based wildlife forum in the hops somebody might recognize it.   I did think BER yes, but it seemed to happen so sudden and only on those pods ripening.    The plant is kept in a grow house though it has...

    Good guy, Bad guy, culprit?

Hi, :)   I noticed a few days ago that the ripening pods on my yellow 7 where going soft, and as they continued to ripen a clear soft 'V' shaped unripe pattern would appear. These soft spots seem contained to the outer tissue of the pods as the inside is healthy... Due to the very inclement...

    Not "Yellow moruga trinidad"

It may very well swell out over the coming days. I've had that happen many of times with my moruga's, scorpions, and Barrackapore's this year.

chinense So i just tried a ghost ... and i'm not a fan of the taste!!!!

Yellow 7- pot is the nicest I've ever tried... Worst is the plain old Trinidad/ Butch T Scorpions... just pure nasty tasteless pain lol.   Bhuts are okay but not very fruity in my opinion.

Feel lucky to have a new unnamed verity...

Where exactly have you gotten naga from what i written? There is absolutely nothing naga'ish about this chili; not in heat, look's, flavour, etc.   I'm thinking its likely to be stable, if it wasn't there would be no point in seeking legal information regarding naming it.

Maybe, its definitely some sort of Capsicum chinense cross.

    Evil looking pod

Its a Moruga?    I just figured it was Red 7-pot but shaped like my Yellow 7's - but the smell is Moruga like (more pungent).   I guess it looks like a Moruga lol   I guess they weren't growing them for consumption, they had flower, herb, fruit orchards. They had loads of other vegetables...

Feel lucky to have a new unnamed verity...

I bought this yet to be named variety of chili plant from the folk at Sea Springs (Dorset Naga people). The guy said they where thinking of calling it 'Yellow Submarine', but they needed to check copy right's etc before they could... i'm not sure if he was joking or not, but he seemed genuine...

    Evil looking pod

So i was at a chili festival recently, and at this place they had opened up the gardens. In the gardens where plenty of green houses containing chili plants, they had hundreds of verities all loaded with ripe pods... many plant's had pod's that where beginning to rot on the plant as they had...

    bacterial spot

Pale lime green leaves with lots turning yellow and dropping could be nitrogen, copper, magnesium - any pictures? If you can purchase some fertiliser mix... A good one I've recently purchased is phostrogen all purpose for fruit & veg.

    bacterial spot

Look similar? The black spots are a form leaf spot, I can't remember the name but I will look it up later for you. The discolouration of that last leaf is likely from a current or previous nutrient issue.. There is a small patch of necrotic tissue on it's edge however this could be anything...

    Guessing Cercospora Leaf Spot

No it doesn't lol. I tried it last night, it mixed a little with the water with some vigorous shaking, but I'll just stick to dusting it on next time.

    bacterial spot

Until you show us more leafs and prefrably a few close up shots of the plant in question, a proper diagnosis can't be made. So hold off the treatment for a moment... :-)

    bacterial spot

Potassium is the K, some plants use more of then others, especially those loaded with pods in pots to small for the plant. I've a number of plants this year suffering from K deficiencies - I've had a lot of leaf drop from it.

    bacterial spot

Looking at the picture on my laptop i can see it much more clearly, i'm still going to stick with potassium deficiency. I would like a better look of the leaf next to it, do you have one? And also can you upload more pictures of the leafs on the effected plant, especially any leafs that are...

Possible early potasium deficiency shouldn't be excluded.

    Guessing Cercospora Leaf Spot

How much sulphur should one mix per 1 litre of water? And is it okay to spray on plants with pods?
  20. scotchnaga85

What could be the cause of this?

Very nice chart :-) they've definetly had potasium deficiencies recently, however I used other signs to determine this. I didn't realise that this was also a sign. Thank you :-)
