for air pumps i have run the topfin 4000, that i paid $ 20 each, i have 4. never had one fail, yet. the only problem i have had are the airstones and no matter the cost, they always fail, rot or clog, so i keep a backup of cheap stones from walmart.

i have only had 1 small red pod and it was fine, heat was blistering but remember, i really don't have the best growing conditions, i don't think that pod was even close to a million shu. the pod was so small it didn't have seeds. the chinense aroma wasn't as  strong and i had to get very close...

i am looking at a 7 pot primo that has a pod that is absolutely evil. several others on the plant, one wonders if it is even meant to be on the same plant!

it's probably kashmiri, it is really common and available in north america buy the bucket loads. it is not hot and dried in the form you have takes on a slightly nutty flavour.
