any suggestions on a sauce for french fries?

The Diablo sauce at Taco Bell makes a good ketchup. Not bad on fries. I have emptied a bunch of packets into a squeeze bottle.

Is it safe to plant this?

Where I used to live, large groups of children would sit for hours on the porch and stairs right outside the apartment. They would look in the window and ask what we were doing. One kid urinated in our yard. They would scream and argue. Chalk pictures on the concrete. Trash got left behind all...

Is it safe to plant this?

The ghost pepper was one of the first I succeeded with germinating. I bought some peppers at the local grocery. I had a really big plant that did nothing but drop flowers, because it was only ever inside. The neighbors tended to kill anything I set out. Now I live in a mostly better place, but...

Is it safe to plant this?

It's probably why I failed to start some jalapeño seeds to make up for my ghost peppers which didn't germinate and my jamaican hot chocolate that didn't germinate. The paper towel looked colorful.

Any time my wife changes her routine or does something unexpected, I worry about it. In that line of thinking, I would say you should worry. Or not. It is too late; the damage is already done.

preservation is a shelf stable no-vinegar sauce possible?

I thought that there have been discussions here about using only lemon juice, and no vinegar. It would be nice; I prefer the taste of lemon juice over vinegar. Even so, I still use vinegar. It just feels safer and more neutral for adding sauce to foods.

    Triple Cotyledon

This is good. You get three main branches instead of two. It may grow more slowly, but you will end up with more peppers. I have read about it here. Unfortunately, my own plant died without producing peppers. It didn't get enough light and grew too tall and fell over.

Is it safe to plant this?

This is interesting. I have never used anything but water with my paper towels. I didn't have any idea that I could or should be adding other things. How does that work?

sauces for Mardi Gras? what to serve?

Sauces for Mardis Gras? We're on the second page and no one has suggested a chocolate or caramel sauce would go best over nipples. I just don't know if you could get away with anything spicier than jalapeños for such sensitive territory.

    RANT!!! just need to VENT!

Some of the plants I have given away are still alive. I ran into someone who had a couple of them. He is growing indoors and he hasn't gotten any actual peppers yet, so I suggested that he should look into how to do hardening and be ready to move them outside in the spring.   One person I gave...

The ins and outs of Epsom salt

Epsom salt is good for your bath tub. You can absorb it through the skin to get more magnesium in your tissues. It is a common deficiency that doesn't show up in blood tests because it is used to regulate the pH of the blood. The tissues can be low in magnesium without it showing up in a blood...

I'm about to get my ass kicked by hurricane Matthew

Can you take cuttings of the ones you can't bring in? I was just trying to figure out how to do that, and if I really needed to buy rooting hormone.

    CPR problems

In that the acronym CPR was already taken for something else, in my mind, seeing it in this context only produced a certain confusion. Thanks for clearing it up. And I got the quote from Wikipedia.
