Apparently these snails were introduced here on purpose to control other snails? WTF? Well I have plenty of them if anyone wants some, LOL.

I've noticed holes in pepper leaves lately, not many but maybe 10% of the 130 plants. Can never find any bug on them during the day so was thinking its a night attack from something. While harvesting strawberries today I found snails, and a LOT of them under the strawberry leaves. Many...
Have worked with LED's for many years now, only two years for plant grows. IMHO its a tightrope walk of light over heat, over plant genetics. Providing a huge blast of light yet little heat hitting the plant is resulting in something I'd not hypothesized. Plants grow short and fat with more...
Now that I'm harvesting from the garden it's time to experiment in the grow room.
Three weeks ago this Fish Pepper started above ground.
I had it under intense LED light as soon as it sprouted and now its only 4" tall, in a 6" pot and getting root bound. Look at how close the leaves are...
One last a year if used right... http://www.waterfiltersfast.com/Pentek-BP-410-10-10-inch-Bag-Filter_p_6742.html?utm_medium=cse&utm_source=google&cvsfa=4177&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=42502d3431302d3130&gclid=CNSZy72J6MQCFRWUfgod6EMA8w
Takes a whole lot more than an electric bill change to get in trouble with the man. It could raise alertness levels if reported but way more things needed before the door gets busted down. My neighbors see my grow room lit up through the blinds before and after dark starting each Feb, still...
True and I understand the bad sides of mining guano. I have spent 21 years doing cave and abandoned mine rescues. Several trips to help with research in the Grand Canyon bat cave where guano was mined until the jet cut the tram line cable. This is an old mine shaft that nature is quickly...
I have a close supply of it in moderate amounts. Probably about 6cu yds or so free for the shoveling. This is raw guano in an old mine shaft from 50 years of mexican freetails. Currently use composted chicken manure, would I get any benefit with the bat guano?
Last year I used weed barrier cloth but primarily to stop the fungus knats from getting in through the drain holes like they were. It worked but I soon found out I needed to lower my watering amounts to those plants, the fabric looks like it would let water right through but doesn't really, I...
Normal native Chiltepin here are small leaves and almost perfectly spherical 1/4" around pods. Neither of the two types now fruiting are same so some crossing happened.
Native Chiltepin / Reaper F1 cross. I have many plants going from the seeds and about 50% are normal sized Chiltepin leaves with pods that look like mother plant being spherical and 1/4" around, slightly elongated from mother plant and much hotter than mother plant. The other F1's have much...
Yes on new starts but I'd also soak in actual H2o and drain a few times (like 10) then put in partial light and see what happens. Hypothesis is they will at least be stunted but may be just fine if done quick enough. Either way its fun to experiment.
Pretty much our entire state is running on drip systems. About 7% of my job at work is maintaining just the irrigation to the 40 acres of property. Probably the same at home between my yard and the garden. I'll post some stuff later in the week here as far as what I use but happy...
