Thanks for the info FS, I sprayed them with Garden Safe brand fungacide spray. All the white is on top of the leaves, nothing on the bottom. Hopfully the spray will work because the seven y/o is really excited about growing our own pumpkins.

I have three pumkin plants growing and some leaves are turning white from the vains/stem outward. Is this normal or something to worry about? [/IMG]

Yes, deer eat pepper plants. I've had deer eat my plants down to the dirt, even with small peppers on them. Until one day I tossed out a nice mature red jalapeno to a deer. He never came back.;)

I ran into that same problem last year. Fortunatly mine are oak trees and easily "thinned out". They got about 4-5 hrs sunlight and did just fine. Thai's had the best yield, then jalapenos, habs didnt do so well.

The majority of store bought jalapenos i've ate have been mild at best. It's disapointing when you have your heart set on some stuffed jalapeno's for lunch.

I must need to get a life also, because that was a great episode. And I have used superthrive, plants grew really tall, but not much production out of them.
