I use a paper towel.  They are made to absorb liquid. Just made sense to me and was some thing I always have on hand.

Last of the reapers for this season.  

No clue what it is.  I definitely didn't have any jigsaw seeds for 2015.  As far as I know it is a bhut, either chocolate or red.  Those are the only bhuts I planted this season.

I think it should have ripened but with these cold nights I think it is out of time.  I will pull it soon and hang it upside down, but so far they are green.

I think I have 16 atm.  15 of my own and one my brother bought me.

It is a bhut of some sort.  It has been green for nearly a month with no signs of blushing.  This one fell while I was gardening today.  They all look like this though.

We are hitting low 40s overnight now and everything is wilting.  My reapers and morugas are still looking okay but the ripening has certainly slowed.  I have a few datil plants still out there but they have stalled from what I see.  The chiltepins still look healthy but they were so far behind...

I've had some random pods take longer than expected. Had some dealers that took a good deal longer than the Morugas I had them in with.

So I verified that there are discoloured leaves beneath the canopy so I don't think it is an issue of too close to the light.  After looking up Cu deficiency it is another possibility.  

  I do have a fan on them.  Could be too close I'll have to check to see if there are any underneath.  I think these mostly came from the top.     Ayeyayeye more things to research :)  Thanks.

Need some help tracking down what is missing with my hydroponic habanero plant.  Lately I've been seeing leaves like this.  Still fairly random and overall plant health looks good.  Solution is at a pH of 6.0 at 70 Fahrenheit.  I first thought potassium since the solution was running lean on...

This is pretty much what I do as well.  This is the first year adding mushroom compost for me but glad to hear someone else does it.  Very reassuring.

So I guess this is about six weeks.  Had an issue with lack of calcium/magnesium that is hopefully corrected now.  Started a few new seeds that arrived recently and moved a couple of my plants in from outside.       Naga Morich has really taken off.
