    WHOLEY CRAP BATMAN

Thanks for everyone's replies and likes, now that it's been over 6 hours since the events unfolded; it really wasn't that hot (muahhhh hahahahahaha) I've harvested hot pepper seeds in the past so I kinda remembered the ground rules. I used a glass cutting board, put lotion on my hands...

    WHOLEY CRAP BATMAN

I tend to like spicy food and I've had Habaneros and such before and lived to tell about it, but until an hour or so ago I was a Super Hot Pepper virgin (blush). I bought a mixed SFRB from Scorched mainly to get the seeds but I figured what the hell lets give er a try (as I fished out the...

    Rairdog's Shanks on sale 1.27 $/lb

Yeah, those glass ones are purdy to watch the yeasties do their thing but I'd highly recommend plastic carboys or plastic fermenting buckets. Once one of those glass bad boys shatters you tend to mumble (or scream) *^%$^*))I&^#$#@  .....  I shoulda .......

    Rairdog's Shanks on sale 1.27 $/lb

The only advice I'd throw your way is watch those glass carboys. They can get slick and it doesn't take a lot to bust em (personal experience). Best of luck in your brewing adventures. Cheerz

First post and a few questions.

Welcome aboard THP train, I'm not the conductor here (just a beer drunkard here to take your ticket). I've done no cooking, fermenting, sauce/salsa making so I'm of little help (Same shit my wife says). Cheerz, Gary   :drunk:  :welcome:

vendor Pepper seeds from RedNeck Spysee Chilez

Thanks for the kind words Sandra and AJ. I did want to clarify something though. I am a simple urban gardener and seed collector and while I AM a member of Seed Savers Exchange (as AJ stated, they are a fantastic non profit organization whose sole purpose is to maintain the bio-diversity of open...

One beer for the rest of your life. What would it be?

All great brews mentioned thus far and this is not a critique, just my opinion : Love, love, love Cigar City's Zhukov but I couldn't drink it all year long. Their Jai Alai however I could do non-stop. Lagunitas makes great brews and I think for me Lagunitas Sucks is my favorite, but it's not...

    Capsicum "Cardenasii" CGN 20497

I know this is a 9 month old post but has anyone tried to grow out CAP 1530 or CAP 1491? Although CAP 1491 is listed as a Capsicum sp. the seed look a lot like CAP 1530 to my untrained eyes.

    Help please !

If nothing else (if it was me), I'd send the pictures to your seed source and ask them what they were. Hopefully someone on here can give you an idea. Cheerz !

    Help please !

Welcome to THP, unfortunately I'm not good on iding these "new" varieties, but they look nice and healthy with lots of poddage. Definitely not bullshit, that tends to have a brownish color and is normally flat  Cheerz !!
