Nope, it's all natural. Be sure to get XXXTRA hot sauce, "salsa Kutbil-ik de chile habanero", it really has a taste like no other, has me believing it actually is an old Mayan recipe. Some of the others in their line apparently have food colouring though.

Personally I was disappointed with this sauce considering all the hype surrounding it. My problem wasn't a heat one, but a flavour one. I've got three quarters of a bottle left, and I don't know how to use it.

I've had the pleasure of trying the one you speak of on pizza, its simply delicious.
