    1.serious season -trial&error - or maybe Hit&run!

I'm sure you are right & thanks Chileaddict :) Trying to learn how to 'read' my plants, but I might need some help or advice..... At the picture the leaves on the Morouga tend to point/seek down, same pattern on a lot of my Chinenses. And it seems like it is getting worse at night/when it...

:) I really love my new 'house', and look forward to fill it with pepperplants! The season here in Denmark is not long, nor warm enough, for growing outside. I think some pepper species will be fine in garden beds, and I will try to plant a few - maybe Rocotos/Manzanos, am I right that they are...

Not really a plant-update (they are growing slow, but steady) just more of a happiness outburst! Yesterday my greenhouse arrived, and after a long day.... TADAAAAA! Here it is :woohoo: And the stones in front of the house is not supposed to stay that way  it was just my attempt to make...

seeds-germination Just a thought on germination

Overthinking is good! I can't imagine that the way the seed is oriented, will effect the germination rate, but might effect the time span till it breaks the soil surface.... just my overthinking-thoughts :) Or did I misread you?

Thanks for asking Chileaddict. they are slowly recovering and uncurling, now I'm sure that the leaf curl was caused by overwatering. I need to be more carefull and go easy with the water. In fact there was a few other plants showing signs of water suffocation  Here is the Fatalii today...

Pinched my first flowerbuds yesterday, I hated it... but someone has to do the dirty job  Some say pinch other says don't pinch, so now I run a little test - one of my 'Ring of fire' did get pinched, the other is left un-pinched. Come to realize that I really DO love repotting, so I spend...

    Justaguy's 2011 Garden Season

Looking good Brian! How many plants are you plannning on growing? And will they all go in the ground or do you also do container-growing? Everything seems so well organized with those seed trays - I've got to get some for next season..

Hi mmcdermott:-) Thanks! 400 plants??! I'm already in deep trouble with my 150 seedlings/little plants + the overwinterings. Seems I'm saved by the bell, and get a new growhouse in two weeks. But I'm addicted and already craving to put more seeds to germinate :-) Good luck & happy growingQ Jette

Thank you Spicy Chicken! And maybe the problem is overwatering, the pots still seems pretty heavy. Like you say; I thought my plants need plenty of water during transplantation, also to get the roots to let go of the old pot. So I soaked them 'a bit' the soil in the new pots, also...

    1.serious season -trial&error - or maybe Hit&run!

Few days ago, I transplanted my overwintered Fataliis to bigger pots. Now most of the laeves have almost 'rolled' themselves together, curling downwards! Can anyone tell me why they are doing that? Have I done something wrong and is there anything I can do to 'uncurl' them? Or do they just...

Maybe I have to go into the Bonchi-growing business..... the amount of indoor space decreasing rapidly, after repotting to 2L pots  Is it time for adding some fertilizer now? They might have a slight tone of yellow.... Come spring, come new growhouse......please
